Fight for her HEART

Chapter 2: KIM JISOO

It was another busy morning in Seoul, the busy roads, busy traffic, crowd streets and busy people. Everywhere was full of people walking and driving. Kim Jisoo, a designer and an elegant single woman of this 21st century, considering herself as a very busy person beside she had no boyfriend to spare her little time with.

She was making her way to the door of Seoul Hospital and greeting the nurses who passed by. Jisoo was very familiar in this hospital. Most of people who worked here knew her because she made her present here two times a day, morning and night. She was the beautiful granddaughter who had a kind heart, friendly, and had a lot of humor.

She sometimes bought snacks or lunch for the nurses who had been taking care of her grandfather. This can be a reason that her grandfather had been treating very well, almost the same way as the VIP patient. Everyone here loved her.

Jisoo walked in the elevator and pressed up to the seventh floor where all the cancer patients stayed. Yes, her grandfather was a lung cancer patient. It had been four months since her grandfather had that ailment and it had been two months since he stayed in the hospital.

Jisoo had been always blaming herself that she did not notice the changing of her grandfather's health. She was busy with her work and did not pay much attention to him when she knew pretty well that her grandfather will never told her about his sickness.
He had been often hurt inside his stomach badly and he always took the painkiller. He thought it always happened with old people like him so he didn't mind not telling her.

Not until one day when she came back from work, she couldn't see her grandfather around and dinner hadn't set. Usually, her grandfather would cook dinner and waited for her arrival in the living room but that day was strange. She thought maybe he was in the bathroom so she went to check him but he wasn't there. Then she went to his bed and still didn't find him. She wondered where he went so she called him but this was no answer. She started to worry so she called again and heard a phone was ringing from the garden. She had no hesitate instantly following the sound. There her grandfather was laying down on his stomach unconsciously. She was very panicked and cried so hard. After that her grandfather was sent to ICU and it was the night that she knew her grandfather is very very sick. Since that day, he always stayed in the hospital examining every day.

The doctor would hold a surgery in the next two weeks for him. The doctor told Jisoo that there was only fifty percentages that the surgery would succeed. He can stay alive for more than six months if it's going well. But if they didn't do anything , it would be even worse. So she had to prepare for any results.

She can't stand watching her grandfather in pain. She always cried silently every times seeing him enduring his pain. There was a time that he hurt so bad and asked the doctor to end his life. There was another time he hurt until fainted. When he was hurting, Jisoo's heart was broken into pieces. She hurt too.

Luckily, these days there was no sign of hurting that much so Jisoo was much more relaxed. The next two week was important. She had to take care of him more than every time before doing the surgery. He had to be strong and being encouraged from the family. Tomorrow night, she would officially moved in the hospital. She would sleep here.

Jisoo walked out from the elevator and checked herself in the glass window of her grandfather's room. Today, she wore her usually light make up with a light brown color on her eyelids , a light pink powder on both of her cheeks and a light red lipstick. She wore her hair up in ponytail. She wore a white show off shoulder shirt with a jean and her new favorite shoes from Gucci. She slowly opened the door and saw her grandfather was watching TV while he was eating his breakfast. A nurse was standing next to him checking something.

"Ohh Hi Jisoo-ah!" The nurse saw her and greeted her with a wide smile.

"Hi Yuri! I bring a coffee for you." she responded and lifted the coffee on her left hand. It's such a coincidence that Yuri was her classmate back then in high school.

"Aww, you don't have to do that, anyway thanks you!" Yuri said and took the coffee. Jisoo often brought her coffee in the morning. She used to refuse getting the coffee but Jisoo always said that she wanted to do that so no refusing. Yuri wanted to give her money and then Jisoo would say no and said with her precious smile " I don't need your money, if you want to pay, just take care my grandfather well."

"Never mind, it's my pleasure and thanks for always taking care of my grandfather." She said to Yuri and smiled to her grandfather. Then Yuri excused herself to check on other patient.

"Has you eaten?" Her grandfather asked her.

"Pancake with a fresh milk." She responded back and prepared his medicine.

"You should eat more. You look skinny you know."

"I will have more in the office. Here your medicine." She gave him the medicine and a glass of water. He took it and looked for something on the table. Jisoo followed his eyes and giggles.

"Here your sweet potatoes." She took out the sweet potatoes from her bag.

"I thought you forget it." He smiled and ate some of the potatoes.

"Hehe, how can I forget?? But remember don't eat too much okay." She stayed there for another half hour talking with him about her work and tomorrow night she would move in. She talked about her aunt would come to the city next week because she was busy finishing her farm work and he talked about last night TV show. He also talked about his last night dream. At seven o'clock, Jisoo left the hospital and went straight to her work place.

    7:25 AM, Z.co group

  Jisoo arrived to the office early. She had been work here for almost 3 years. As soon as she graduated, she formed an application to work here. Z.co was her dream work place so no matter what she would work here.

Top designers of the country were working here. The most well-known brands of the country also came from this company. There were many challenging and exciting things to do working here. In addition, the salary was so high and she would learn a lot of thing within the company. The entire standard that Jisoo wanted are all existing in this company.

Z.co was everyone's dream work place. The company ran many of business, which included hotels, technologies, schools, fashions, airlines and even house supplies, etc... with different names but under the management of the Z.co group. The only brand that used the original name was the fashion lines because Z.co started with fashions. All the brands head offices were in one building with totally 17 floors but in different floors. For example, the fashion lines located in sixth and seventh floors, the airlines located in the third floors. There were also sub-offices, building and stores in both local and overseas.
Jisoo took out her ID card and wore it. She walked in confidently and scanned her card in order to confirm that she was a stuff here.
