(Josh's POV)
Hey there, My name is Joshua but...it'd be better just to call me Josh.I don't expect anyone who's reading this to know me but ifyou do don't hesitate tomessage me and let me know PERSONALLY how my writing is. I'm not a really big author...not big on writing much at all really, but people say I've got the talent for it so...what the heck lets try.
Ok so for about 12 years of my lifeEmily didn't exist (in my lifethat is). I didn't have the slightest clue who she was...not evenwhen i added her on Facebook. HonestlyI only added herbecause she looked like an interesting person, turns outI was right. Not a day goes by that i don't findEmmy interesting, she's always got something to say and frankly I like that.
May 23, 2010 was the day Emmy andI met. I was just browsing through what comments i had on my photos when a friend request pops up. At first i was a little irritated butI clicked it down and saw the name "Emily MusicGrrl". I have to be honest at the timeIwas a very angry...somewhat depressed guy, but i added her as a friend. Within 20 minutes I decided to ask why she had added me and a reply "You were friends with one of my good friends so i added you".
We got to chatting and she said we could be really great friends. I replied "I don't know if a guy like me would be fun...or friendly", but she was intent on becoming friends i guess because she replied "Then ill make you that way :D". I know interesting development huh? Within two to three months me and her were the best of friends...we called ourselves "The Team Who is Yet to Be Defeated" thats turned into "The Awesome Duo" which was actually a small blog i wrote on Facebook, but ever since then that name has stuck.
We never thought we'd be beaten...but what we didnt know was that the biggest challenge we had ever faced....was just outside our own front doors.
