(Emmy's POV)
It was a sun-shiny morning. Ugh. I was okay with sun-shiny DAYS and all but mornings.. It just didn't work for me. Mornings in general just didn't work for me. The whole idea of getting up early and being awake was just... Blah.
But then I quickly remembered: Today was the Hunt. No, I'm not talking about going out and hunting for deers and stuff. Frankly, I hated that. This was a hunt for... Other creatures. Remembering this made me snap out of my sleep and get up. I went and got some breakfast first, though. Josh was sitting there already in his gear, urging me to hurry.
I just woke up and I'm still in a pair of sweat pants and a tank top. DON'T EXPECT ME TO HURRY. Quickly, I got some cereal, went to get into my gear, and came back.
"How do you eat your cereal like that? Ew." Josh said, making a disgusted face. "It's all soggy and gross."
"Says you." I said, sticking a spoonful of Reese's Puffs in my mouth. I took my hair out of its messy bun, shook it down, then put it up in a pony tail. I got my weaponry and poison-proof vest as Josh and I headed out of the door.
This was going to be a long hunt.
