Simon walked up to Mr Sweet's door and rapped on it three times. When he got the "Enter" from Mr Sweet, he opened the door and closed it behind him.
"Good afternoon, Mr Sweet," Simon replied to Mr Sweet's greeting. "Oh, dear," he then said, looking at PJ and Dexter in the seats before him. "You two, what have you done?"
"Running in the hallway," Dexter sighed.
"Nothing serious," PJ also replied. "I mean both of us did nothing serious."
"Right," Mr Sweet spoke, edging forward in his seat. "Well, if that's your view, I think being grounded ought to open your eyes."
"What?" PJ asked, straightening up. "You can't do that!"
"Calm down, PJ," Simon told him. "This is to make sure you understand that what you did was wrong, I'm sure." Mr Sweet nodded, looking over his spectacles at PJ.
"You're to move straight between Anubis house and the school. No detours," Mr Sweet explained. "For the whole of next week." With PJ having a silent fit of rage, and Dexter cringing in disbelief, Mr Sweet sent them away with their nearly finished sandwiches. "Sorry about that, Simon. What is it you want to tell me?"
"Well, I was told the janitor was having trouble with a damaged pipe in the boys' bathroom. I decided to come and inform you of that."
"Another leakage?" the headteacher asked. Simon shrugged his shoulders and raised his eyebrows. "That's the second time this week I've heard of this." And with that, Mr Sweet exited his office and walked to the left, with Simon following him.
"I'll just be heading back to Anubis house, Eric," Simon called after him. Mr Sweet looked back, nodded, and continued walking to the boys' lavatory. Simon then walked back to the end of the hallway, and then eyed the office door.

"I mean," Cassie spoke on, Erin becoming tired of it as they stepped through the door to the house, "it's not like I'm not trendy, funny, or overall attractive. Right?"
"It's because he doesn't know you very well," Erin repeated for the umpteenth time.
As Amaya and Adil entered the house, Simon stuck himself out of his office window and declared, "I'm sorry about this, folks, but I'll be doing a bag search."
"Sorry?" Cassie asked.
"I've heard from Mr Sweet," Mr Goodman began, descending the stairs, "that a serious theft has taken place at the school."
"What was taken?" Amaya asked.
"That's private," the caretaker answered. "But whoever took it knows what it is, and that's all that matters."
He got to the bottom of the stairs, standing before Cassie and Erin. "If you'll voluntarily hand over your bags, I can do this quickly." Confused, Cassie and Erin removed their bags and handed them over to Simon, and Simon then reached over to grab the twins' bags, too. Then Dexter and PJ entered.
"What's going down?" PJ asked, stopping dead in his footsteps.
"Bag search," Adil told him. "Something got stolen."
The hall was soon crowded with all ten students, handing the last of their bags over to Mr Goodman.
"Uh oh," Raymond whispered, pulling Ian to the living room doorway. "My sample of Bigfoot's hair is in here. And other things."
"Ray, Ian," Simon called. "Your bags, please."
Ian and Raymond had no choice but to give Simon their side-bag and backpack, respectively. Once the hall had cleared of the chattering students, and Ian and Raymond were in their room, Ian made sure the door was closed and assured his roomate, "Simon's not gonna take anything out of there unless it's the stolen item. When did you even find those things?"
