Her mother continued to proceed into her bedroom. Ivy could not dare to lookinto her mother's face. She had a sense of guiltiness and sorrow in her head. She felt like it was her fault this inccident had to happen. She continied to look in the mirror as her mother talked to her.

"Hi, may I come in?"

"Well you already did, sooo...might as well."

"Ivy" she looked at her with a serious face.

"Ivy.....IVy....IVY!!!!"

Ivy tried so hard to not look at her mother. If she had look, she would spill out the beans. She would say we aren't a happy family and your being cheated on by your own husband.

"Well you don't need to give me I contact, but I need to tell you.... I know this is hard for you to ugust into"

Ivy tried to understand what she was saying. Does that mean she already new about the affair?

"About what?"

"About me and your father.....I Know we haven't been taking soo much because of the fight that we had, but we are trying to fix it. No matter what okay?"

"Okay?"

She understood why he cheated. She continued to have a big empty hole in her stomach until they drove out to the resturaunt. At least she had Justin by her side. She felt more of a comfort when she had him around even if he is annoying.

She grabbed his hand before, after and during the dinner. She looked into that women's eyes with disgrace of ever showing her face to the family. Her father said that it was a friend from work. Ivy could not believe nor trust what he was saying. All she thought he said gobldigook.

"It's very nice to met the Richardson family. I hope to see you again someday !"

" ya, with a ring on it" ivy whispered.

When ivy went back home, she tried to act as if nothing had happened. She didn't want her mother to feel hurt and unworthy inside. She didn't want to feel that neither. She tried to forget, but it became the main focus in her well thought out mind.

"I have to....NO I shouldn't."

Her mind stayed in the same place while her body continued to go down the stairs. Step by step without even thinking straight.

She was stopped by her father. He looked at her as if to tell her not to tell. She couldn't obey her father. Ivy pushed her out the way and let every single word out.

"DAD HAS BEEN CHEATING ON YOU!!!"

Her mother stopped in her tracks. She froze, then turned back around. She could hear her sobbing. Ivy was now guilty for what she did. I am such a blabber mouth.

I saw my mom as she quickly walked up the stairs. Drops like the sizzle of coals walked up the stairs and stopped being herd by me and my father. I could not bear to see my mother's face. She definitely knew why this had to happen.

I too teared my self down stairs into the reck room. Watching endless counts of inspirational movies. Begging for mercy just to restart this day all over again. I texted my friend Lilly, one of my best friends since third grade. We have a lot of things in common funny, ambitious and a little shy. We always juxtapose each other. At least both Justin and Lilly keep me calm and steady.

At 3 am in the morning. I took a shower and as I cleanse myself of all the guilt and sorrow. I looked at the sun arising. The colors purple, yellow and orange dance around the sky, changing colors and brightness.

I slowly lay down on my bed and let go. I dream on and on into infinity.
