Broken Beyond Repair

Everyday

When he approaches that building

He always has a battle

On whether to go in

Or turn around and run

From the fear,

The pain,

The loneliness

But always ends up

Walking through those double doors

With his head down

Afraid to look anyone in the eyes.

He's lost the ability to trust

Always feels unloved and unwanted

Ugly, freak, weirdo

Are the only things he ever hears

About himself

And if you take a closer look

You can see

the tear stains;

The fresh scars;

The Boney figure;

He tried everything

But nothing worked

So he just shut down

Now just an empty shell

Who left every feeling behind

Becoming broken beyond repair.
