Foxy's POV

I woke slowly, sitting up in the process. I got up and put on my layers upon layers outfit. I polished my hook, washed up, and even decided to pull my hair back for once. I gracefully walked out of my room to Freddy's. When I stepped in, he was face-down on the pillow, snoring away.

"Freddy, time to get up." I nudged him with my hook. "Ye need to be getting ready." Freddy groaned as he was awoken from sleep.

"I wish I didn't." he groaned. I rolled my eyes.

"Bears and their sleep. By winter he's worse." I joked under my breath. I waited for him to actually stand up before I left. Next thing I know, I hear a crash. I opened up Freddy's door and laughed a bit. Freddy had fallen over, asleep of course.

"I'll let ye sleep a bit longer, lad, but I suggest ye better be getting ready here soon." I said, walking out of the room and closing the door behind me. When I walked into the living room, Bonnie was sitting on the couch.

"Where's lass and Chica?" I asked. I never really called Nala by her name, just my nickname for her.

"Nala got hungry so, Chica is getting food for her." Bonnie replied.

"Ah, little one's getting hungry, isn't she?" I sat down in one of the chairs and laid back. "How's she been doing? With her night-wonders, I mean."

"Heh, heh. She's been doing ok. She's just a little shaken up by the events from last night." Bonnie stretched out a bit.

"Aye, that's fine to hear." I look up at the ceiling fan. Suddenly, the door opened.

Bonnie's POV

The door opened to Chica and Nala coming in with some fruit and water bottles.

"Oh, good morning, Foxy!" Chica shouted.

"Calm yer voice down, Chica. Though, Freddy better be waking up or I'll have to get him. How ye been doing, lass?" Foxy asked.

"Good. We have fruit!" Nala exclaimed, trying to hold the fruit.

"Here, let me help." I said, getting up and heading towards her.

"So, Freddy's still asleep?" Chica asked.

"Aye. He fell over like a tree that's been cut down by a wee lumberjack." Foxy said, his eyes glazing over a bit.

"Gee, he's like this an awful lot, isn't he?" Chica giggled. I began to take the burden of holding all the fruit as Nala rushed over to Foxy. She catapulted herself on to Foxy, making him grunt from the impact.

"Careful, lass. I may be young, but I can be worn out too." Foxy hugged her.

"When do you guys get to stay in here?" Nala asked.

"That depends, lass. Maybe a holiday will com up soon." he answered.

"But, you stay behind the curtain, don't you?" Nala looked at him, confused.

"Aye, lass, but the people here like to make sure we're in our places before they close up shop." Foxy let Nala sit on his right leg for a bit. She leaned back on him, relaxing.

"Nala, if you don't mind me asking, but, what was your nightmare about?" I asked.

"Now, Bonnie! Be nice, it might've been traumatic." Chica scolded.

"S-sorry. I was trying to see if I can do anything. I read in a book once, that if your nightmare is just a minor one, they won't come back. If its a major one, they will continue until a major event takes its effect off of you." Bonnie objected.

"That be mighty fine help, lad, but ye know she's just a little-" Foxy was interrupted my Nala putting her hand on his mouth.

"No, I'm a big kid." she said. Chica and I chuckled.

"Ok, ok. Yer a big gal, but the nightmare must've been horrible for ye to handle. Correct?" Foxy asked after he took Nala's hand away. Nala nodded slowly.

"Maybe some other time, Bonnie. C'mon, let's wake up Freddy." Chica led me down the hallway towards Freddy's room.

Nala's POV

I sat on Foxy's lap, laughing as he bounced his leg slightly. Seeing the smile on his face was good enough for me. I liked Foxy. He acted like the father I'll never really have.

Unless...

I gasped and looked at Foxy, full of joy and excitement.

"What is it, lass?" he asked, confused for my sudden burst of happiness.

"Can you be my new daddy?" I asked. He seemed shocked at first, but soon his face showed a warm smile.

"Now, lass. What about yer own dad?" he looked at me in the eye.

"D-d-daddy?" I stammered. Foxy nodded. "He... he..." I trailed off, not wanting to finish the sentence. I started to cry, then hiccup, then cry, until I was hiccuping with my tears.

"Lass?" Foxy asked. concerningly. He must've figured it out because he pulled me close ant stroked my hair with his hand. "Poor gal, you must've been terrified."

"Will... you... though?" I asked between hiccups. Foxy sighed and turned me so I could face him. I calmed down a bit so I wasn't shaking so much.

"Whatever ye say, lass. If I look it to ye, I be it for ye." he said with a smile. I hugged him around his neck tightly. He hugged back gently.

Foxy's POV

I was a bit shocked at her question. When she started crying I realized she had lost her father. I didn't know how but, she must've been there. I know now that I'm the new guardian of this child. It can't be that bad, could it?
