chapter 2

The meeting was over but everyone was still talking.

"Y/n stay here for a few moments I have to go to the toilet and need to find Maria."
"All right" I said and my dad walked out of the office.

I was scrolling through Instagram while the rest was talking after a few minutes the all stopped talking. I looked up from my phone and saw everyone looking at me.
"What?" I said annoyed.

"Who are you?" Tony said.
"Y/n, need to know anything else creep?"

The rest of the avengers were giggling a bit. "Hey I'm not creepy" Tony said defensively.
"That's exactly what a creep would say" I answered while giving a smirk.

"You got burned Tony!!" Clint said everyone was laughing now. Tony huffed and took out his phone.

"Hey y/n you got any training experience in martial arts or mabye in boxing or something?" Natasha said.
"Well not really. I did one time knock someone unconscious, but I didn't really want to."
"Wait? How?? What?" Tony said.
"Well there was this guy name's Trevor he's a dick. So we were at this party and he was getting pretty drunk. I was getting some drinks then he came over to me. He grabbed me by my hips and wanted to kiss me I said he had to stop but he didn't want to. So I kicked him in the balls and punched him. I didn't want to do it so hard but I just used all of my strength." I looked down at my hands and knew they were all staring at me.

"I'm sorry that happened" Steve said
"Don't worry he doesn't bother me anymore." I said and gave them a small smile.

"Well if you want to you can train with us" natasha said
"Wait you want a 16 year old to train with us?" Tony said.
"Well it can't hurt right?"
It was quiet for a minute.

"Well all right then she can train someday with us."  Tony said
"Does everyone agree with it"
"Sure" everyone said.

"Well I'll see you guys then" right as that left my mouth my dad walked in.
"What do you mean by see you guys then?" My dad said in a stren voice.

"Well they asked if I could train with them"
"Wait what?" My dad said while eying the avengers.
"Please dad can I train with them... please"
"Hell no"
"Please just one time"
"No y/n!"
"But dad" I said begging.
"No but's y/n no is no"

"Sir I think she would really like to train with us one time, and it would also be good for self protection." Steve said.

"No is no y/n come.. now we have to go."
"But daaad" he grabbed me by my shoulder and dragged me out of the room I felt myself getting angry.

We were outside of the meeting room now.
"Really dad! Why can't you ever let me do something fun. I can't even go to a party without telling you or go out shopping with my friends. Why can't you trust me or just let me have fun for one time in my god damn life!" I walked off while my dad said.
"Y/n I just want to prote-" I didn't hear him anymore I was walking outside of the shield headquarters.

I was running and running while I was crying my eyes out. I ended up in the middle of the city.

I love New York I have lived here all my life with my dad and with my mom when she was still alive.

My mom died when giving birth to me. I don't know a lot about her I knew that her name was Sarah and that's it. My dad doesn't like talking about her. Everytime when I bring it up we walks away gets angry or cries.

When she had died the first few days he drank a lot. One time he was so angry and he had drunken a lot and he trashed the house. When I came down to look what happened he hit me. I knew he didn't meant it and I knew he was sorry but I did stay a few days with my grandmother until he was better.

I was walking through the city and stopped at a Starbucks to get some coffee. I heard my phone ring when the woman at the counter said my name signalling that my coffe was ready.

I quickly got my coffe and looked who was calling I saw that my dad was calling me so I didn't pick up.

I was strolling to the city the whole day getting texts and calls from my dad I still didn't answer them because I was still very angry at him.

The sun was setting and I was sitting on a bench. The bench had a nice view looking straight over at the Stark tower. Time went by so quickly it was 12am and I decided to walk because it was getting chilly.

I made my way to the Stark tower because I wanted to get a closer look. When I was walking the weather decided to make it worse. First it was raining lightly but before I could blink It was raining cats and dogs."

I took a quick sprint and stood under the canopy of the stark tower. I saw a bench and sat there. It was raining and it was getting cold outside.

I looked behind me and saw the lobby of the stark tower. I was considering of going home but I didn't want to I didn't want to see my dad.

My phone was on 15% so I put it back in pocket. My eyelids got heavy but I could hold them open. I was looking around again. I saw a lot of people with umbrellas or people who held their bags over their heads so they wouldn't get wet.

My clothes were soaked and the weather wasn't getting nicer either. My body was shivering but I decided to stay put.

"Jennifer did the reporter of the New York times call alread?" I heard someone say it was a voice I recognised. I looked around then I looked inside the stark Tower and saw Tony standing there talking with the receptionist.

"No sir, they didn't call yet" the receptionist answered.
"Well all right then" he looked through the window I saw that he looked at me so I quickly turned my head again.

I heard Tony say
"you know who that girl is that's sitting there outside?"
"No sir I have no clue"
