Her eyes glanced back as she felt something cold touch her neck, fear gripped her heart as she tensed up and took in a shaky breath, her body trembled as a chill chuckle filled her ears.  It seemed familiar "Johnathon" she let out and looked at the fingers of the male, Johnathon was known to have cold skin, it felt like cold knife instead of skin, "hey" said the male who sat down on the ground instead of the bench.  She smiled at the strange male and placed her hands on her lap and cleared her throat, "what took you so long?" Mary asked Johnathon to hear him sigh, "it's the Lavender Killer" he said with no expression.  "He killed a man and left the pile of lavenders" he mumbled and placed his head in his hands stressed, "what weapon did he use?" She asked it was weird how the killer killed his victims, using a straw or maybe a piece of paper, "this time it was a dead bird" he said with slight anger, to him it was morbid sight, having a dead bird stuffed down a throat with slight poison or maybe cyanide, he shook his head as he seemed older now.  Mary Snow placed her hand on the tired male, "you need a vacation soon" she said her voice holding the sound of concern and worry, "I can't" he stated and looked up his brown eyes showing how tired and stressed he was.
Johnathon shook his head and sighed, he was in a miserable state from the killings of that damn killer, "you will find him" Mary said with determination.  "Maybe never" he said with such sadness that seemed to break her heart, she hugged him closely as her eyes fluttered closed as he leaned against her, she was hugged close by her friend as he started to hold back sobs, the male's body racking violently as tears soaked her dress, she rubbed circular patterns to soothe him.  She hummed to calm his nerves, she felt him tightened his grip as he continued to cry, "its okay" she whispered softly her voice quiet and low.  He was gasping for air as his sons took his breath, she had to tell him to take deep breaths.
