18. Caught

Earlier that day, at the BTS Dorm:

Hoseok (sleepily): Jiminah, what's all that noise? Why did you get up so early?

Jimin: I couldn't sleep.

Hoseok mumbles something, turns his back towards Jimin and continues to sleep.

Jimin: Phew! That was close. Where the hell is my denim jacket? I can't find it! Did I leave it in Namjoon hyung's room? Let me go check. No, it's quite early to go to his room now. I'll go after half an hour. What do I do until then?

Jimin sits on his bed and takes out his phone. He begins to play some games on it but is unable to concentrate.

Jimin: Rachel. Will she come today? I really hope so. Aish, what do I tell the other guys if they ask me where am I going? If only we didn't have to go to High Tower today. I just hope the event gets over early.

He continues to aimlessly game on his phone despite losing repeatedly.

Jimin: Argh! Let me just get my jacket from Namjoon hyung's room.

He makes his way out and knocks on the door. He hears Namjoon speaking on the phone.

Namjoon opens the door and indicates Jimin to sit down.

Jimin searches the room for his jacket but can't find it.

Namjoon: Yeah okay...we will be ready by 9 o'clock.

He cuts the call and throws his phone on his bed. He lifts both his hands and pulls his hair back in exasperation.

Jimin: What happened hyung?

Namjoon: Manager Sejin confirmed that our even at High Tower is cancelled. He also said that we have to go to Osaka for an urgent conference. He will send the cars to pick us up after a while.

Jimin looks at Namjoon, petrified.

Jimin: We're going to Osaka?!

Namjoon: Not all of us. Only Yoongi hyung, Hobi and me.

Jimin: Geez, you scared me.

Namjoon: What?

Jimin: Nothing. So, you'll will be leaving soon right? I'll go tell Hoseok hyung; he's still sleeping.

Namjoon glances at Jimin puzzled but nods in agreement.

Jimin returns to his room and wakes up Hoseok. He conveys Namjoon's message. Hoseok groans and slowly sits up on his bed. He sets out to pack his bag.

Jimin decides to search in Taehyung's room for his jacket. When he enters it, he is surprised to find Taehyung up and dressed. He was wearing black chinos and a light blue casual shirt. Both of them look at each passively.

Taehyung: What happened?

Jimin: Have you seen my denim jacket?

Taehyung: Nope, it must be in Jungkook's room.

Jimin: Have you heard? We are not going to High Tower because Namjoon, Hoseok and Yoongi hyung are going to Osaka for a conference.

Taehyung: Are you serious? So, we have the day off?

Jimin: Yup.

Just then Jin enters the room.

Jin: Yaah! What are both of you'll dressed up so early in the morning for? You know we are not going to High Tower, right?

Taehyung and Jimin: Yup.

Jin: Then what? Let's watch a movie.

Jimin: Err...hyung, I thought of going to Yeohiji Botanical Garden today to take some time off.
