Rachel and Jane: SURPRISE! HAPPY NEW YEAR YOU GUYS!!!

The two girls enter inside with warm smiles which vanish as the sight of Manager Sejin.

Rachel: Wha-

Manager Sejin jumps from his seat with a start. He impulsively rushes to the boys and commands them to get behind him while barring his hand across them in a defensive position.

Manager Sejin: Who are you and what do you want? How did you get here? Jungkook move from there and call the police!!!

However, Jungkook doesn't budge. His gaze shifts from the unexpected company to Manager Sejin who seemed as though he was ready to leap on the two girls and tackle them down.

Manager Sejin: Jungkook what are you doing? Get away from them!

Jungkook slowly takes a step forward and stands beside Rachel and Jane. Manager Sejin watches Jungkook, aghast.

Jungkook: H-Hyung, they are...they are nice people.

Manager Sejin turns towards the other members. He suddenly sees Taehyung and Jin walking down the stairs with Leah trailing behind. Reflexively, he lifts a hand to his chest as though struck by lightning.

Manager Sejin: Who on earth is that? Why is she coming down from there? What is going on here?

Namjoon: Shh hyung. Let us...uh...explain.

Manager Sejin: Oh yes. I need an explanation. CAN SOMEBODY EXPLAIN WHY ON EARTH AM I THE ONLY ONE FREAKING OUT HERE?

Jin ushers Manager Sejin to sit on the chair which he complies to very reluctantly.

Manager Sejin: Well?

He looks intently at the faces of the six members before stealing a glance in the direction of the girls. Yoongi prods Namjoon who in turn nudges Jin to speak.

With every second passing away in silence, Manager Sejin gets all the more restless. He jumps out of his seat once more.

Manager Sejin: SOMEBODY SAY A DAMNED WORD ABOUT WHAT'S GOING ON BEFORE I CALL THE COPS!!!

Jungkook: I'll tell you.

Everyone turns to look at Jungkook as he steps forward next to Jane. He takes her hand in his and walks confidently up to Manager Sejin.

Jane: What are you doing?

Manager Sejin gapes at the sight in front of him. The others too are taken aback by Jungkook's bold move.

Jungkook: Hyung, you don't need to think anything. We are all friends.

Manager Sejin glances from Jungkook's hand grasping Jane's firmly, to his face that had a solemn look on it.

Manager Sejin: Earlier I may not have been thinking so much, but now, you are making me think A LOT of things!

Jane watches Manager Sejin's eyes examining hers and Jungkook's intertwined fingers. She tries to pull away from him but he holds her hand tightly, lifting it up to link with his arm.

Jungkook: Hyung relax. As I said, we are just friends. Please hear me out.

Manager Sejin seems all ready to pass out as Jungkook strokes Jane's hand in a reassuring manner.

Hoseok: Psst! Jungkook, what are you doing?

Jungkook turns around, still not letting go of Jane. He nods lightly at the members.

Jungkook: Don't worry. I've got it.

Yoongi throws his hand in a facepalm while Jin blows a soft whistle. None of them had ever seen Jungkook so calm and composed in the midst of a crisis. Here he was, thinking that he could soothe Manager Sejin's doubts but instead, was causing the poor man a lot of distress with his conflicting words and actions.
