Everyone was busy in Rudra's marriage preparations. The obros were together enjoying their little brother's marriage and the Obhaus were in their different girl trance. The elders on the other hand were busy arranging Rudra's marriage preparations. There was all happiness scattered around as everyone in the house was enjoying this atmosphere after facing a lot of struggle. Since Shivaay and Annika were back in the mansion the couple also had the blessings of every elder of the house.
All the three Obahus retired to their respective rooms the night before marriage. Since it was Shivaay who called Annika at first they had to follow the bade bhaiya's orders to do the same. Gauri came into her room finding it empty as always. Sighing she immediately changed into her night clothes and retired to bed. "Gauri puttar" she heard Dadi calling her. "Ji dadi" she sat up. "Puttar voh kal puja hai subah... both the bride and the groom need to attend... can you help me with the preperations?" she asked. "Haan dadi.. zaroor" Gauri smiled and moved with her.
She went into the mandir with dadi and started arranging things as dadi wanted it to be. "Puttar, voh zara varmala dekh le... use bhi kal subah bhagwaan ke charnon mein rakhna hai" dadi pointed to the wedding garland. She went and picked them up, placing them on the side stool to make them easily available. "Theek hai puttar" dadi said. The next hour went along arranging the other things according to what dadi wanted.
"Haan.. bas.. Thank you so much beta... Dadi" smiled at her. "Dadi, it was my duty" she smied back. "Ab jaa, so jaa. Om intezaar kar raha hoga" dadi said. "Voh toh Rudy Bhaiya ke saath hain dadi..." the smile contracted. "Oh.. yeh ladke bhi naa... koi nahi puttar.. tu jaa so ja" dadi said as she went into her room.
She slept on her side with a pillow in her hand trying to calm all the stress down. Though Rudra's marriage was a hectic affair because it was an Oberoi's wedding. The thing she missed was her husband. She knew that he was equally busy and also that his little brother needs him more than anyone but still she wanted him to listen and say what all happened to her in the day. She took a long breath to calm her down and went into a deep slumber.
As usual her alarm stroke at 5 and she left her bed moving to her washroom. She came out after she finished her work and started arranging everyone's attire for the wedding.
Lag Ja Gale Ki Phir Ye Hasin Raat Ho Na Ho
Shaayad Phir Is Janam Men Mulaaqaat Ho Na Ho
Lag Jaa Gale ...Ham Ko Mili Hain Aaj, Ye Ghadiyaan Nasib Se
Ji Bhar Ke Dekh Lijiye Ham Ko Karib Se
Phir Aap Ke Nasib Men Ye Baat Ho Na Ho
Shaayad Phir Is Janam Men Mulaaqaat Ho Na Ho
Lag Jaa Gale ...She was humming when Omkara entered the room. Greeted by his chirraiya's sweet voice he smiled. But then after a moment the smile turned into a frown. "Yeh kaisa gana hai" he asked frowning. "Kyun aapko pasand nahi aaya" she looked at him. "Nahi... par yeh gana... yaar don't sing songs like this" he said making her smile. "I don't know but aaj yehi gaana yaad aaya" she answered. "Toh main koi aur yaad kara dun" he smirked. "Ho gaya aapka... why don't you go and change... Rudy Bhaiya wait kar rahe honge and Bhavya also needs to get ready" she cleared.
"Yaar... yahan husband romance ke mood mein hai and you are on work mode.." he pouted. "Toh Mr Husband abhi work mode hi on rakhiye... Shayad aap bhul gaye ki ghar mein shaadi hai" she said informing. "Oh come on... shaadi Rudy ki hai... kam se kam thoda romance toh karne do" he started taking baby steps near her. "Omkara... Omkara..." Shivaay called her. "Aaya Shivaay" he said. "Jaaiye..." she said moving away. Though he sensed her disappointment but decided that his brothers needed him first.
Gauri went to Bhavya's room to get her ready where Annika was alredy present. Both the girls helped the bride amid a lot of giggles and laughter while Shivaay entered to give best wishes to the new member of her family and accepting her as his sister.
All these moments made her remember her own marriage. She never regretted the way she got married but had always missed these rituals in her wedding. Though everything was just perfect in her wedding but as every normal girl she wanted. She also wanted the elders to bless them after wedding. She wanted them to smile, blush get exited, get nervous... and get to experience everything that a bride does. "Gauri... Gauri... kya soch rahi ho" Shivaay brought her back. "Kya soch rahi ho?" he asked. She shook her head in response as Shivaay smiled at her and left the room.
Suddenly Bhavya started finding something in her drawer. "Kya dhoondh rahi ho?" Gauri asked her. "Bhabhi... voh humari mumma ki aakhri nishaani... unki watch... I can't find that" she answered. "Khahn rakhi thi?" she asked again. "Yahi thi Bhabhi" she answered back. "Bhavya... Bhavya... shaant... socho.. kahan rakhi thi" Gauri tried to calm her down.
Bhavya calmed herself trying to remember.. "Haan voh toh humare quater pe... asal mein hum kal quater gaye the.. so I think I forgot it there... hum jake le ke ate hain" Bhavya got up. "Hey Bhagwaan... Chirraiya... you don't know what are you doing... brides are not allowed to move out... sit I would bring" Gauri suggested. "Par bhabhi.." she cuts Bhavya "No.. par.. I am going to bring it because it is important for you... I will be back" she said and went out of the room.
She went into her room to fimd Omkara but was told that he was busy with his brothers and Annika also went to greet Rudy. Sighing she went to the elders but everyone was busy. She tried to call Omkara but it directly went to the voice mail
I am going to bring Bhavya's mother's watch because she can't. I will be back
She said and hung up.
She went to the driver and sat in the car while he drove off. The car stopped at the cross junction and waited for the green light.when the light flashed the driver turned to right, before she could tell him the right route a truck crashed right into her side. In seconds her car turned and turned until it landed upside down with the windows broken. Her body moved back as her head hit the car. She tried to say something but only thing she could utter was "Omkaraji" before the darkness consumed her.
Omkara's phone rang n number of times before he was able to pick it up. Laughing on one of Rudra's jokes he picked up the call. "Hello, Omkara Singh Oberoi this side" he answered. "How are you related to Gauri" the voice asked. "I am her husband" he answered thinking about what a stupid question. "Sir, your wife met with a deadly accident. She is critical" the phone from his hand dropped.
