Chapter 6

Mina's POV

The party went good after what happened. BamBam and his group really turned over a new leaf. But i will never accept BamBam's love for me because he's not my type.

"Mina-ah, sorry that you have to stick with me for now onward because of me." Tzuyu said, putting his hand on top of me and caressing it with his thumb while his other hand is on the steering wheel, driving us back home from school.

"It's okay, Tzu-ah. I don't mind at all. I mean you're my best friend, after all! That's why i don't mind!" I said, putting my other hand on top and smiled at him even though he couldn't see

"Hmm. Thanks." Tzu thanked and i giggled. Our hands are still in the same position until he parked his car in the garage.

"Son, you're back! I have something to discuss with you!" Dad said, welcoming us back. Tzuyu's parents told me to call them Mom and Dad so why not.

I sat down with Mom on the sofa in the living room while the father and son talked in the father's room.

After awhile, i heard the door creaked open and i saw Tzuyu entered the living room, looking furious and his eyes are red. What did they talk about?

"Mina, did you tell Dad that you agree to my marriage?" Tzuyu asked in anger and i made a questioning look, not knowing what is he talking about. Tzuyu must have seen my expression.

"See? Dad! See for yourself! You didn't even ask her if she agrees! What if she already has someone else in mind?! She can't marry the boy she likes anymore! Because you made me marry her! Do you think she will be happy?! You also never even ask me if i agree!" Tzuyu shouted at his dad. 

I rushed to Tzuyu's side, making him calm down. He managed to calm down and looked at me with sadness and guilt. I already got the hang of what they are talking about but couldn't dare to ask.

"Mina-ah...i'm sorry...i'm sorry..." Tzuyu start to apologize and his voice's shaking. I looked at Dad, wanting him to explain.

"Mina, your parents actually want you to marry Tzuyu. We agreed to them. Sorry for not asking for both of your permission." Dad said and sighed then went back to his room.

"Mina, your parents told us that Tzuyu seemed to be a good guy who will definitely take care and protect you. They wish you and Tzuyu would accept this marriage." Mom spoke 

"When will this marriage be?" I asked, my voice shaking

"After collage or the other one will be the week before Tzuyu become the CEO of the company." Mom answered

"I will tell my husband to let you 2 consider this. I will convince him when you don't want this marriage. It's understandable and reasonable. You only see him as your best friend after all so you might not be able to imagine him as your husband so i will let you consider. Okay?" Mom said with a small smile and i smiled back. She then went to her husband's room.

I turned my head to Tzuyu, who is beside me. He slowly turned his head to me with the same eyes, full of sadness and guilt.

"I'm sorry...You can cancel this marriage if you want. I respect your decision. We will still be best friends, anyways." Tzuyu spoke, his voice shaking and he looks like he's going to cry(?).

"Don't be sorry. I can understand why my parents want me to marry you so it's okay. Stop saying sorry. Okay?" I said, walking him to his room.

He opened the door and before he closed the door, we said goodnight to one another then went to our rooms, going to sleep.
