Grace frowned to herself as she woke up. She realised that Adam wasn't there and sighed. She stood up and walked through the cottage and frowned as she saw him on the phone and frowned as she realised that he was making secretive phone calls. She ran her hands through her hair as she looked to him and rolled her eyes as he turned to face her and sighed "I have to go" he said to who he was on the phone to and sighed. "And who was that?" Grace asked as Adam looked to her and sighed "long story" he said as grace looked to him and rolled her eyes "of course" she said as she noticed how off that he was. Adam looked to grace and smiled as he walked over to her and smiled as he placed a hand on her cheek and smiled as he leant in and kissed her. Grace kissed him back and smiled as he pulled away

Grace could tell that he was hiding something and that she would find out what it was. She always did "I have to go I'll see you in a bit" he said as she nodded. She watched as he walked off as Brooke walked in and smiled as she looked to her sister and smiled "are you okay?" Brooke asked as grace sighed "I don't know, he's hiding something. I know that he is, what if there is someone else" grace asked as Brooke looked to her and smiled "of course there isn't. Adam loves you and there is no one else, you don't need to worry, when he is ready. He will tell you" Brooke said as grace looked to her and smiled "I hope that your right" grace said. She felt as if there was something serious that he was keeping from her

Grace sat in the Pub with Brooke as Adam walked in. Grace frowned as she saw Adam and Cain who stood talking, they were acting all secretive and grace didn't like it. Grace looked as two police officers walked in and over to Adam causing her to frown "Adan Barton, your under arrest on suspicion of the murder of Emma Barton, anything you say will be given as evidence" the officer said as they put the hand cuffs on Adam. Grace stood up and looked to him and smiled "it's not what it seems babe, I promise" Adam said as he was lead off. Brooke grabbed graces hand and smiled "it's all going to be okay" Brooke said as grace sighed hoping she was right

Grace sighed to herself as she got home. She sat at the kitchen table and sighed as she ran her hands through her hair and sighed as Cain walked in and smiled. He walked over to her and hugged her and smiled "I know that your in shock but you need to know it isn't looking good for him and that you need to prepare yourself for the first" Cain said as grace looked to him and sighed realising she could loose Adam just as she had fallen in love with him
