Jackson parks his car in front of his house. "Are you ready?" he asks. I grin widely. "I was born ready." We step out of the car and enter his house. Which is, by the way, huge. I can hear the bass pump loudly. My heartbeat automatically adapts to the rhythm of the bass. Jackson's friend, Yugyeom, is busy placing bottles of beer into the mini-fridge by the pool. There are fairy lights put up around the bar and the pool is lit up by purple lights. I wave at Yugyeom as he looks up. He smiles and waves back. Jackson tugs at my arm. "The party starts in about 30 minutes. I'm going to prepare the snacks. Help yourself." He points at a table full of booze. I pick up a cup and pour myself something to drink. I hear voices coming closer and I turn around. Two other of Jackson's friends come in. "Hi Laura! Long time no see." Jaebum also picks up a cup. I smile politely. "I know right. How's college?" I ask. "It's fine. Long days. Lots of homework. But I'm surviving." Jaebum laughs. Jinyoung, the other friend, joins the conversation. "Still working at SM?" he asks. I nod and take a sip of my drink. "Well, atleast you have a job. I have no luck finding one." Jinyoung sighs. Jaebum slaps him on the shoulder. "No time for whining tonight. It's gonna be lit." Jinyoung slaps Jaebum back. "Bro, I'm definitely gonna get laid tonight." I frown. "See you later, Laura. Make sure you have fun!" Jaebum and Jinyoung walk away and I'm alone again. I sit down at the couch. Music starts to play even louder. Yugyeom walks into the livingroom. "10 minutes to go." he says. "Can't wait." I reply.
The doorbell rings. "I'll get it." Yugyeom opens the door. "Ayo, welcome, come in." A big group of people walk in. I stand up and smile at the people. A girl walkes towards me. "Hi Laura! Haven't seen you in forever." I chuckle. "Hi Chloe, I've been busy. But tonight imma get loose." Chloe laughs. "That's the spirit." More people start walking in. The house is soon crowded and the music pumps out of the stereos. I hear people laugh and talk loudly. I see a couple making out in the corner of the room. People who are dancing. I get up to walk to the garden with the pool. People are yelling and swimming with their clothes still on. A group of boys are playing water polo. Some without shirts on. I nod approvingly. No complaints about that. Especially Yugyeom. I grin and sit down on one of the comfortable chairs placed around the pool. Jaebum yells my name. "Laura! Come into the pool. You can join my team!" I hesitate. "Come on, it will be fun." Jaebum flashes a big smile. I put down my drink and take off my shoes. I guess I can go into the pool with clothes. I'll just grab a towel from the bathroom afterwards. I jump into the pool which causes water to splash everywhere. Some boys laugh. "Ok, let's get started. Whoever has 5 points first, wins." Jaebum says. The group nods and we start. Save to say that I literally suck at playing water polo. My skirt is bothering me and the ball is way too slippery to get a good grip on. After a while the boys stop passing me the ball, because I'm that bad. I leave the game and grab a floatie that's in the pool. I look at the sky and feel completely at peace, when someone splashes water in my face. I see Yugyeom's face hover above mine. "Hi, let's get something to drink, shall we?"I smile at him and get out of the pool. Yugyeom hands me a towel and a cup. "Ah, maybe I shouldn't drink anymore. My head feels like there is a tornado inside it." "Don't worry. It's a mix of soda and booze." I take the cup from Yugyeom and drink it all in one big sip. Yugyeom chuckles. "Thirsty, weren't you?" I look at him. "You make me sick." Yugyeom looks at me weird. "What?" he says. "I mean, I have to-" I can't even finish my sentence before I throw up. All over Yugyeom. He looks at me shocked. "Oh my God, Yugyeom I really didn't mean to." Yugyeom takes a step backwards. "Ew, Laura, what the fuck." I cover my eyes with my hands. "I'm so sorry Yugyeom." I feel my cheeks getting bright red. People around us are mumbling. Yugyeom looks at me with a disgusted look before he runs upstairs to clean him self up. I look around the room. People give me weird looks. I run through the front door and sit down at the steps. Why did that happen? Can nothing good ever happen in my life? Two black shoes stop before me. "Can you please move?" a voice asks. I recognize that voice. I look up. The one and only Oh Sehun stands in front of me. He looks surprised for the second time this day. I, on the other hand, am annoyed. "What are you doing here?" I ask. "I'm invited to this party." he says, clearly amused. "By who?" "Does that matter? I guess were bount to run into each other, everywhere we go." Sehun replies. I roll my eyes. "Rather not. Knowing that you're my boss is already enough to make me throw up. Again." "You threw up?" Sehun asks me. "Yeah, all over a boy, who is very attractive." I sigh. Sehun laughs. "It's not funny." I say madly. "I think it is."
