Graduation

Graduation-Milly

I slowley looked around to see any sign of the living but no such luck, but atleast there was no braindeads (zombies) either....

Becci and I still held each others hands tightly, I started to walk slowly to the huge school doors and they opend with a creek, as the double door's opend we placed our feet on the cold school ground floors our feet making echos as we walked down the large hallway to the gym once we got there it was.......empty....

                  ........what we're we thinking of course no one would be here........

As I thought those words a small "hello" came from the side of the room me and becci's eyes followed the sound  which came upon a small girl i think around the age of 10 stood in the corrner, her eyes red from un-shed tears "a-are you here to help m-me"

"what are you doing in here...." becci asked letting go of my hand and walking to the little girl then crouching in front of her.

"i just wanted t-to see what an older school kids p-party looked like" the little girl stutterd 

 "well i guess this is not what you suspected......but what is your name sweetie?" Becci smiled alittle trying to make her feel a bit better

"M-milly" she sniffed

"well nice to meet you milly" i said from behind becci "but.....do you know whats going on, do you know why no one is here"

"b-because pe-people are hurting each other....."

"Yes...that does sound about right...i think we should try and find other survivors....in might be needed because i don't think two teenagers and a kid will be such a good team"

"What are we going to do ,did you not see how many there was..."Becci whispered to ,trying not to scare Milly.

"We will just have to fight back....but first we better watch and study them..." I whisperd back "There should be some left behind school bags and some food that we can take with us"

"Oh and some pens and note books!"milly smiles trying to help...but we could use those to wirte down what we know of these brain dead's 

"Good idea milly" i said while looking out the hall way doors  "lets go and get supplies, becci can you go with milly and get suplies from the first aid room?"

"Y-yeah sure " beccie whisperd while grabbing on the millys hand they both left the room leaving me to look around the gym again

I hope they will be ok.....hmm maybe i should take something with me just in case something happens I went up to one of the tables and ripped of one of the legs .

As I had ,the table went down with a crash and then the gyms back doors that lead to the outside started to rattle and crack ,the doors slowley opened ,peering through the crack in between the doors, I could see the cold eyes of the brain...deads but one of them was so familier.......

.....mum...

No it cant be how...how is this possible....i cant get sad now its to late to get sad.....the worlds dying and i have to try my best to do something i held tighter to the table leg then ran out of the room closing the gym doors behind me placing the table leg between the handles to give me time i will just have to find another weapon to use ......i better stay with becci and milly it will be more safe then being alone..

I ran to the nurses room (first aid room) to find them thank god they were safe and nothing has gotten in...yet

"guys we have to be quick they react to noise...so we have to be quite and as fast as possible" i imformed them while grabbing the closest bag that was outside the room and shoving as much first aid stuff I can but leaving room for books and food supplies

"Becci where do you think there would be spare books?"

"uhhh the.....class rooms..."she said giving me a funny look.

"Oh yeah woops sorry mental blank..."I said runnning out of the room to go to the english class that was only two rooms down,I grabbed two writing books and a few pens Becci and Milly came in a few moments later.

"Do you need me to tell you where to get food too?" Becci smiled.

"haha really funny just hurry up" I said rolling my eyes.

As we got to the cafitieria we grabbed as much canned food as we could 

"c-can i ask something?" milly asked looking at me.

"yeah..sure what is it?"i said crouching down in front of her

"how do you know what to do?"

"well if you have watched as much zombie movies as i have you would know"I said giving of a chuckle...."All you need to do is be as quiet as possible , the slightest sound could send them off" I said standing up , still holding her hand.

"Oh my gosh" Said Becci.

"What is it Becci" 

"There's a gun ......In the principals office" She said walking as quietly as she could to the principals office.Listening to the very words come out of her mouth , gave me a sudden sense of happiness , the gun...means we are safe ....But if there's a group of them we won't be so lucky...."We need more weapons ...If we want to survive".

"Yeah ...I know , but we have to be grateful that we have one gun, it's better then nothing"Said Becci , turning the corner into the Principal's Office.

Grabbing the shot gun , from underneath the Principles chizzled wooden desk. Grasping on to the shot gun as hard as I could we went to the back door that led to the school oval.

"I've never been so scared in my whole entire life" Said Becci wiping the tears that rolled down her face.

"I know....we just can't show emotions , because we will see a lot of people we love ...gone, we don't have the time to cry or do anything , we must do what we have to do ,to succumb this" I said opening the back door as quitely as possible.Looking out the door there were no brain-deads outside.

"Quickly ...but quietly" I said taking my first few steps on the hard concrete.

Walking on the un cut grass we jumped over the loose soccer balls and basketballs that laid scattered on the grass. 

"Where are we going to go" Said Becci grasping onto Milly's arm.

"I'm not quite sure, yet , but we cant stay here , all the school lights that surrounds the school , will be lit up and the brain deads will follow the lights"

"W-why , don't we go to Whiteman Reserve , it's completely emtpy and my mum used to take me there all the time" Mutter Milly.

"Yes! Whiteman Reserve , why didn't I think of that before , It's got all sorts of weapon's and food , but most of all it's got a cabin , made of strong wood , it'll be sure to keep those braindeads out"I said stopping and staring at Becci.

"Yes! I remember Whiteman Reserve , we must go now , it's starting to get dark" Said Becci starting to walk.

Walking to the metal fence that seperated us from the school to the main road , climbing over it as quiet as possible , we then started to make it to the main road.Climbing up to the hill that over looked the main road it was havoc.

"Oh...my....god" Said Becci , very slowly.

Black smoke came from the busted up cars that were piled up on one another , debris and ahs's flew through the cold misty but dark air , sending the smell and scent of blood and death going up our noses.

Being startled by the sound of a car alarm , going of , my eyes went wide as the sound of moaning and screaming came from behind us , getting closer and louder......
