Journey back to you, Steven X connie

Battle: Part 2

Connie and the crystal gems got back up after their encounter with Steven. They were still stunned by what just happened a few minutes.

Connie: What's going on! What happened to steven? Why is he acting like this!

Connie look towards the gems for guidance and an explanation on what happened

Pearl: I-I Amethyst?

Amethyst: What are you asking me for! you're the one who lived on the home-world and helped out pink diamond! What about you garnet?

Garnet had one tear dripping from her left eye, it was sapphire. Ruby's side came out and reassured sapphire that they would get steven back no matter what. Those words were enough to pull herself together and garnet wiped the tear off her face.

Garnet: Gems! We need to follow white diamond and steven! Who knows what they are going to do! Let's Move!

Connie and the gems nod Garnet, pearl, and amethyst fused to form alexandrite and placed Connie into her hair then alexandrite climbed the side of the building. It took a few minutes, but eventually, they reached the top of the building. Alexandrite grabbed Connie off of her hair and placed her onto the ground.

Connie: Wait guys where is bismuth!?

Alexandrite: Don't worry she is working on dismantling the diamond ships so that white diamond can't control them!

Connie: Great idea!

Alexandrite and Connie then look to their right to see white diamond laughing, Along on her shoulder was  Steven(C).

White Diamonds: Why do you gems keep ruining my perfect world! This is my colony! Why can't you just leave home-world alone!

Alexandrite: You have something that belongs to us! Steven Universe! We aren't leaving this place until you give him back to us!

Steven(C): I don't need you guys! All you did was hold me back, well look at me now! I'm even stronger then I was before!

Connie: Steven! I know you are still there! Please fight it...for me.

Steven(M): Connie! Run!

Steven(C) gives Connie a hard stare and jumps down to the floor from white diamonds shoulder

Steven(C): You just don't know when to stop do you?

Steven(C) Draws his sword and holds it in front of himself, Connie does the same she is getting nervous, she knows if she can't defeat this steven that she'll lose steven forever. Alexandrite begins to fight white diamond. The two giants struggle to tackle each other. Connie looks at steven and jumps to attack him, Steven dodges the sword attack and they both began to clash with their swords, Connie backs up and tries to attack stevens legs, steven sees this quickly and grabs the sword and throws it over his head and slams it to the ground along with Connie, Connie was badly hurt she attempts to go for her sword, but steven(C) kicks it away from her. Steven holds his blade up high with connie backing away from him. Steven(M) Quickly realized that this was exactly what he saw in his dream, it was all coming true.

Connie: Get away from me!

Steven(C) Grew closer and was ready to slam the blade onto Connie.

Steven(M) Stop! Stop! Not my Connie, please!

Steven(M) Had tears coming from his eyes, it was as if blue diamond was using her ability on Steven.

Steven(M) Closed his eyes, not wanting to watch his jam bud get slain by himself. In an instant, Connie jumps up and kicks the sword out of his hand. 

Steven(C): What the!

Connie Lands on the ground and stands up, something was different about Connie, she seemed quicker with reflexes. She raised her hand and her sword flew towards her, she quickly grabbed the handle and opened her eyes, Her eyes were completely white, Steven(C) was shocked, he quickly picked up his sword and tries to attack Connie, Connie within a blink of an eye quickly dodges the sword, She then kicks steven in the guy towards the other side of the roof, this made Steven(C) Frustrated and he quickly swung his sword multiple times towards Connie. Her body reacted to all of the swings and she dodged all of them, Meanwhile, Alexandrite grabbed white diamond and threw her to the ground and Alexandrite quickly stomped on her multiple time, causing her to almost poof, but the gems knew they couldn't poof her until she undid what she did to steven. Connie hit stevens sword out of his hand and hit steven so hard, Steven was sent flying to the edge of the roof, Steven(C) knew he couldn't win this fight, A voice in his head spoke to him, it was white diamond.

White Diamond: Pink...You know what to do now, don't you?

Steven(C): Yes white, I'll do it...

Steven(C) Stands up and rushes towards Connie, Connie quickly jumped over his head and was performing a spunned sword swing towards steven(C). Steven(C) quickly set his plan into motion, He quickly let Steven(M) have control of his body again, Steven(C) was no more, but Connie didn't stop the swing and she directly made contact with Steven's Gem with her blade, She snapped out of whatever that was, and quickly discovered what she did, Her sword was embedded into steven's gem. White Diamond laughed maniacally before being poofed by alexandrite. Alexandrite then unfused and the three gems ran towards Steven and Connie. Connie couldn't believe what she did, she though she had control of the situation

Steven: Co-Connie?

Connie: Steven! I'm-I'm sorry, I didn't me-Mean to.

Steven: Hey...Come on now jam bud, you were amazing...I'm sorry I put you through all this...

Connie: Oh god Steven...

Steven gave Connie one last smile before being poofed. He was gone, his gem was still damaged.

Bismuth: Guys what's going on! I heard all the commotion!

Garnet: We need to get back to the ship now!!

Pearl quickly grabbed white diamond's gem and bubbled it and send it to the temple.  Connie was running with steven's gem in her hands, She knew if they didn't hurry then steven wasn't coming back...
