Areef's POV..

I stepped my leg out of the office premises as I yawned tiredly,today being Thursday have been a tiring and hectic day for me because I had to complete all the load of works I had before leaving the office, I watched the stars as I sigh in relief,the view can lighten my heart that's already burning...

I sat down on one of the public chairs on the road to rest for a while and gaze at the stars,they twinkle everyday not letting a day slide by without doing their normal routine,they give me hope that I will twinkle also one day if I continue working this hard..

My sad days all started the day my dad threw us out of his life and ran away with all we got,he went away not only with money but with everything we have ever had that's happiness and peace,we struggle hard and still kept on going even when all our relatives turned their back on us saying that we killed our dad,my mom managed with us and gave us a good life,that's why am also struggling each and every time of my life,he doesn't deserve to be a father but a monster..

My name is Areef Jamilu Sani,I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth,my dad being car seller earns a lot and spends it on us,my mom is a shuwa Arab and my dad is a Fulani man,Am 23 years old, I studied architecture in ABU, I have a younger sister Minal and she is 18,Zayd and Afreen are twins and they are in Ss1,they are 14 years old..
It's been 10 years since dad left us and there's no minute that I don't miss him even though he is a monster but he is still my father..

He is a coward for leaving his lovely family alone...

I wiped the line tear that fell from my eyes as I run my hand on my hair frustratingly..

Angel..

The mere thought of her made me forget all my sorrows, I can clearly remember how suprised she was to see me as a worker there,she was looking very beautiful as she heartily smiled at everyone introduce to her she's just different from other girls,different in her own special way..

I rose to my feet as I continued walking through the lonely noisy street and I nearly jumped out of happiness when I came into view with my house, I smiled as I knocked on the door and waited for the person that's going to open it..

"Ya Areef":Afreen said hugging me..

"My baby How was your day": I asked..

"Genuinely fine especially now that you are back":she jumped..

"Shift,I also wanna talk to him":Zayd said eyeing her..

"Just shut up am taking to him":she said rolling her eyes..

"Would you stop fighting and collect your ice creams": I said handing them their ice creams...

"You are the best":they jumped..

"It's been long":Afreen said gulping her ice cream..

"Where's mama":I asked..

"Am here":she said coming with a plate of food..

"You look happy": I smiled..

"Yes my zobo business is going well, I even went to the market today, I went to the gwanjo side and bought clothes for all of you":she said bringing out a viva bag under the chair..

"They are beautiful,thank you": I smiled..

"I think I will expand my business":she said smiling..

"Like": I asked interested..

"I should start selling food also, I should open a restaurant outside,you see we will get customers because this area there's no restaurant around so the workers here will be happy":she smiled..

"Let's try it": I smiled..

"We will just put a canopy with chairs and tables,then we will buy plates then food items":she smiled..

"Make a list and total it":I smiled..
"Okay we are in this together":she smiled..

"Everything is becoming normal and am very happy that happiness is surrounding us once again":she said smiling..

"Allah is with us and He will never let us fall":I smiled as I hugged her..

"Go and rest okay":she said smiling..

"Good night Ya Areef":the twins said smiling..

"Sweet dreams babies": I said dashing into my room..

I smiled at my newfound life as I embrace it with all my heart..
I carried my book as I opened a new page and smiled as I started writing..

I will cherish you because you are a treasure,
I will value you because you are priceless,
I will love you because you deserve it,
I will respect,value and cherish your thorns because you are my rose,
I will love you in the dark just imagine how it would look like in the light,
I will run out of stars if I start matching them with the reason I love you,
In the river of words we will create an ocean of trust,

I smiled as I closed the book and lied down on my mattrass..

I was missing you before we met my lovely angel..
