Sakura Shirane

The Rescue

As always, Sakura couldn't see what was outside the mirror that surrounds him. He heard voices outside.
There were sounds of explosions and gun shots.
While Sakura was wondering what was happening, he heard some unfamiliar voices.
"Hello~ we're here to take your weapon of destruction" said an unfamiliar man while laughing.
"N-no way you guys are taking it from us! Guards!" yelled a scientist. Soon as the scientist called for the guards, gunshots were heard.
"Like those toys will get to us?" A lady laughed.
"Y-you monsters!!!" yelled another scientist. And more gunshots were fired but soon the sounds died down.

"Well that was too easy..." said the man.
"Hmph. I could have done this job myself..." the lady said.
"I could have too! if boss didn't make us go as a pair!" retorted the man.

They continued to bicker for a few minutes before remembering the original goal. They look around to search for the weapon.
"Hm... I don't see anything that looks like a weapon of destruction...." said the man.
The lady looked around also and looked into the glass case. Shocked to see the content of the container she covered her mouth and yanked the man's shoulder.
"Oh my...... could the weapon be.....this child?" the lady said while staring in shock. The man was equally shocked.
"Let's get the kid and go back to the base...." the man scratches his head as he continues on.
"....and how do we explain this to the boss..."

They take Sakura out of the container. The lady hugs Sakura and the man carries him back to their base.
