Praise the lord

So 2019 might be one of the best years in kpop while I was in the fandom. For real this year has been amazing comeback after comeback. Seventeen just came back after literally no time what so ever and it feels like that with a lot of groups. Not only that but we have some amazing comebacks coming up like Twice and Kard which I've been waiting for another Kard comeback for forever it feels like. So I'm gonna share my top 10 favorite kpop albums and talk about my favorite song on the album. I would also like to know your guy's favorite songs from each album if you've listened to them because I think it's fun getting to know my readers a bit.

10. Fancy You - Twice
This may be on the lowest on this list but don't get me wrong it's still one of my favorite albums this year. The reason why I put it so low here though is that I compared the b-sides to other albums and I think that this album is more known for its title track more than its b-sides. In other news Chaeyoung got lines for once and that's when I realized most of my biases don't get lines. My favorite song on the album is Fancy. All I really need to say is song of the year because that's just the facts.

9. The Dream Chapter: Star - Txt
I really enjoyed the album when it came out it's just that it's getting a little old. Don't get me wrong though because the songs age like fine wine but I usually use that term when I go back to a song after a month or so. My favorite song is Our Summer, an underrated bop. I also lowkey wished it got a comeback stage type deal like Cat&Dog did. Our Summer just feels nice to the ears because you go through these cute songs like Crown and Blue Orangade and you also get this heavy trap sounding song with Cat&Dog and the album ends with a slower song and that is Nap of a Star. I honestly wish Our Summer was the final song on the album because it would have been a happier ending in my opinion.

8. Clé 2: Yellow Wood - Stay kids
This other than the mixtapes this album didn't have my favorite b-sides but there were only two so that's one reason why this isn't at the bottom. The other reason is that this album has such an amazing title track. This was the first comeback that I was a Stay for after I learned their names and personalities so it will always hold a special place in my heart. My favorite song is Side Effects, it just has that authentic Stray Kids title track sound to it and nothing else really sounds like it.

7. An Ode: Fear - Seventeen
I know this album literally just came out but I just listened to it and it's a bop and I highly recommend it. I enjoyed all the b-sides except Let me Hear You Say but other than that it was a solid album. The reason why it's on the lower half is because I've only listened to it once and I could change my mind, who knows. I can't really choose between Network Love or Back it Up as my favorite song their both so good. Network Love is such a different sounding song and I just adore it while Back it Up is just a fun dance song within some of the sadder songs on the album.

6. Just - 1team
How could I not include my boys. They have honestly blown me away with their debut and comeback and they only have a few songs out. They're a less known group but I recommend them if you're into a slightly western, tropical house, and chill trap vibe(vibe is another amazing song by my boys). I really enjoyed the title track and the b-sides and my favorite song is Ice in the Cup. When it comes on it's just one of those songs I can't skip but I'm good with that because it's a bop.

5. Superhuman - Nct 127
Superhuman was so hyped up by Seventeen on their tour while they did interviews and my expectations were exceeded. First of all Johnny had more than one super short line so maybe sm is listening to us for once but that's probably not the case because sm are snakes. I enjoy listening to every song on this album and yet again I cannot choose between two songs as my favorite. Those two songs are Fool and Highway to Heaven. Highway to Heaven is an obvious one and Heachan really did that. Fool makes me cringe but in the best way possible ya know. Like the weird sound Taeyong made in the beginning was something nobody asked for but we're here for it.

4. It'z Icy - Itzy
I was honestly surprised when I placed It'z Icy so high but I jam to every song on the album. Icy was a masterpiece and I honestly was thinking it has some potential to get my song of the year vote(but then I listened to Fancy again). Also the o u t f i t s. The pants this comeback were AMAZING I tell you(my favorite are Yeji's when she gets in the vehicle what are yours?). Also we got to see Yeji perform with he hair down and I was here for it!!! I'm sorry I'm talking about Yeji so much but she's been shining since pre-debut and finally get some more recognition. My favorite song on the album is It'z Summer and when that beat slows down and I hear "How you doing in summer" it gives me goosebumps.

3. The ReVe Festival: Day 1
I will swear by this album till the day I die and even then I'm gonna be bumping it in the afterlife. I didn't like Zimzalabim at first but it's a grower I'll tell you that. I think the only song I didn't love as much as the others was Lp but I still vibe to it. My favorite song is BingBing and please play this song at every important milestone in my life.

2. The Book of Us: Gravity
I felt like I was betraying Brian by not putting this at number one because this album is his whole child. But for real I was having such a hard time when deciding if this would be my number one or two but ultimately it ended up here. Anyways this is another album to add to Day6's flawless discography and nobody can say otherwise. Also their vocal range never ceases to amaze me. I didn't have a problem with any of the songs, like I said, flawless, but my favorite song is Wanna Go Back. Brian who hurt you? But it's a relatable song and I just stop everything I do when this song comes on shuffle.

1. Clé 1: Miroh - Stray Kids
When I tell you I love every song on this album and his it's one of my favorite albums of all time you best take me seriously. Along with Day6, Stray Kids too have a flawless discography and they have no "worst era". But Miroh was the song that made me want to stan because I listened to My Pace and was unsure at first but here I am, whipped for each member. I don't have a favorite song because I just can't choose but I'll just say that I've been listening to Mixtape #4 and Victory Song like 1% more than the others and we'll leave it at that. But for real I don't think I would have ended up becoming a Stay without this song so this song also holds a special place in my heart.
