Reality At My School || Hōtarō Oreki x Reader

Two Shadows

-Morning 7:00 a.m.-

Y/N woke up and looked at Oreki who is sleeping next to her, he looks so peaceful so Y/N got up quietly but instead two strong arms pulled her back.

"Oreki, I have to get ready for school, so do you" Y/N said breaking free while he groaned. Oreki opened his eyes and stood up from the couch.

"Good morning~" Oreki said with a lazy hug and a kiss on the cheek. Y/N giggled and started making breakfast.

"I have to go back to my detached  house, I will see you later" Oreki said and left the house. He went straight forward to his house, eat some left overs, take a shower, put on his uniform and waited for Y/N outside her house.

Y/N appeared with her casual uniform with her hair tied in a side ponytail.

"Let's go" Y/N said and head off to school with Oreki. As they arrived, lots of students whispered again. Y/N didn't mind it since she already witnessed rumors to her but this time is different.

The whispers are about R/N and C/F/N were expelled because of destroying the school's reputation. Oreki and Y/N looked at each other shocked. Now they are famous around the school by being the victims.

"At least they're gone now" Oreki said to Y/N. Y/N nodded.

Chitanda appeared looking upset. Y/N immediately come to her and asked what happened.

"I didn't know C/F/N was this evil...he is really obsessive over things..." Chitanda said. Y/N hugged her for comfort.

"N/N! Oreki!" Satoshi said almost crashing between the three with a bicycle. Ibara appeared behind him.

"Satoshi! I told you to not go full speed when we arrive! You almost crash to them!" Ibara said helping Satoshi up since he crashed at a wall.

"Arigato Ibara~San, Anyways! Y/N are you feeling alright? Did Oreki took good care of you?" Satoshi said with a smirk. Y/N punched his head gently with a little pain.

"I'm feeling alright and yes, Oreki took good care of me" Y/N said with a glare. So did Oreki.

Satoshi chuckled nervously and sneaked away from them. Ibara and Chitanda planned that one of them should take a good care of Y/N in case that incident would happen again. Oreki volunteered since Chitanda's house was far away from them, Ibara was too busy being the volunteer school librarian and he doesn'r trust Satoshi hanging out with Y/N.

It was Lunch Time, Y/N had finished her lunch and started to wander around the school campus. Y/N really enjoyed the view from the garden, the blue sky surrounded with clouds like cotton candy. Y/N loves imagining things despite her love at anime, sceneries and peace. Oreki was eating lunch alone the club room watching Y/N on the garden sitting like a little child amazed. He smiled like the way Y/N smiles at him. He was never lucky to find someone like her. He likes her active personality, the way she sometimes get annoyed at Satoshi and her goofy attitude. He did liked Chitanda but not in the same way he did to Y/N. Chitanda was a very kind person that curiosity always strikes her when Oreki found something suspicious or Ibara or Satoshi.

Oreki's mind slipped off when he saw Y/N leaving the garden. He finished his bento and headed to Y/N who was looking for him as well.

"Oreki! You should look at the garden! The view there is really beautiful!" Y/N said.

"Beautiful like you" Oreki said and smiled. Y/N blushed and punched him playfully at his shoulder. "Besides I was watching you earlier so I already know"

"Stalker!" Y/N said and fold her arms in a tsundere way.

Oreki snickered and followed Y/N around. They discovered the other places like the fountain, the rose bushes and the cherry blossoms.

"It feels so good when someone confessed their feelings to their crush and accepting it" Y/N said going around the cherry blossom tree.

"Eh? Mine is rejecting them" Oreki said and Y/N whined at him from saying the exact opposite.

Y/N chased him around and finally caught him and ended up on the grass at each other's arms.

"I used to conserve energy but when i'm around you, I don't" Oreki said laughing.

Y/N giggled "At least you finally had a fun time at your life" Y/N pinched both of his cheeks.

Meanwhile, Ibara and Satoshi were watching them in awe. "I am so proud Oreki finally find his happy pill" Satoshi said. Ibara nodded in agreement.

"At least he won't be annoying me for now on, I'm still mad at him since he is an idiot" Ibara said.

Ibara and Satoshi let the two have some time alone.

Chitanda was in the club room, thinking of any activities the club should do. Chitanda looked out the window and sighed.

"Hey Chitanda" Suzume said and sit beside her.

"Kon Ni Chi Wa Suzume~San, what brings you here?" Chitanda said greeting her with a welcoming smile.

"Has Y/N been okay? I've been worried about what happened yesterday. Ibara informed me" Suzume said. Chitanda nodded and looked at the messy papers at the table.

"I also have been worried for Y/N, ever since C/F/N and R/N came this chaos happened. If only I can control the time and go back to where Y/N and I can stop her, Y/N has been a great friend to me but all I did was hurt her by taking Oreki in the past and I still can't move on, I don't like Oreki~San anymore but everything I did to Y/N was a little mean...but I can't change the past because Oreki would've never have a rose coloured life if Y/N isn't here" Chitanda said and looked down.

Suzume smiled sadly "Chitanda it is not your fault, I know that Y/N have been hurt some times when she sees you and Oreki. It's C/F/N and R/N's fault, If they haven't been this crazy over one person this wouldn't happen" Suzume patted her back.

After club time, Chitanda went off with her bicycle but something stopped her in her way. It was two black shadows in front of her.

"E-Excuse me...you're in the way" Chitanda asked but they didn't move. Instead, they covered her mouth and dragged her away in the darkness...
