Farha came back home smiling from ear to ear not able to forget that kiss they both shared  ...for her it was something she couldn't get out of her head and she would spend the whole day ...

Her smile later turned into a frown when she entered into the compound and saw her step mother an her sister sitting out side the house  gisting and sharing laughter .

" kai i remember when Alhaji was toasting me walhy the whole village was envious of me " she said cutting the leave in her hand  which she want to use to prepare Alhaji soup .

" wayyo Nina shiga uku" Farha said shaking her hand peping and standing still suddenly her stepmother sister caught a glimpse of farha behind the hurt .

" keh why are you hiding and why is your skirt dirty " she said making Farha to pull herself  forward shaking in fear .

" i ....i fell down " she said hoping her stepmother would buy her story.

" you  did what young lady ?" She asked pushing the tray of leaf aside.

" sorry  it wasn't intentional " she said with the empty tray besides her .

" where is my groundnut and where is my money " she asked walking towards Farha who seem scared taking a step backward.

" mama i...i spill the groundnut i wasn't able to sell today " quickly she grabbed Farha hand tightly .

" you did what so Asara kika mun" she said  still angry  holding farha hand so she wouldn't be able to escape .

" mama walhy it was  and accident " she pleaded holding her skirt . shaking in fear.

" keh Amina bring me that big stick " she ordered her sister .

Quickly Amina grabbed the stick running towards her aunty and handed her the stick .

" i will kill you today you wicked girl ...you did it intentionally " she began to weep Farha.who was screaming out of pain .

At this point she wishes she had just pulled Hamza to her house to pay for her spoiled nuts ..but that wouldn't have made a difference at all because her step mother would have still beating her ....she just shut her eyes as she receive the cane and remember the kiss she got a smile cut her lips .

Amina was watching Farha she knew on a normal day she would be screaming " help help me or baba baba wayyo " but today she was just smiling and and not Screaming  for  help .

  "Keh yau sai kin biyani " her stepmother said ..she weep Farha until she was tired of being wiped

Later that night Farha was in her room sitting beside the window looking at the stars and was smiling even with her swollen body ...usually she would find a corner and cry but today Farha was just smiling Amina walked into the room and found Farha smiling .

" keh whats wrong today you seem extra happy. "Amina said Amused  " you didn't even scream you kept smiling if Aunty  Luba had caught you today walhy kashin ki sai ya bushe idiot. " she said walking into the room  and sitting on the local made bed.

" Aunty Amina today a boy kissed me "she said earning a look from Her she looked at Farha for a while and then busted into laughter .

" a boy kiss this your smelling mouth  hauka kenan " she said still laughing her lungs out .

" keh if na dream better stop stupid girl" she said looking at her " move joor with that you smelling body " she hissed at her and lay down on the bed on normal days Farha would have been upset but today nothing could change her mood she lay her head on her lap looking at the sky  smiling wishing that day could  break and she would see him once again ....she held her lips still feeling his lips on hers ...she couldn't get rid of the scenario .
