Emily and her brother, Chase, talking in the morning, 5:23 am:

"Hey Em, get up!" Chase yelled whilst slamming his fist on her door, not caring if she had woken up, but more that he was bugging her

"Go away, Chase" Emily had a somewhat sad tone, having a terrible dream, and waking up still upset from last night

"Hey, I'm just being nice, and you're getting attitude with me? I'm telling dad!" A smirk grew on his face, knowing that their dad would believe him

"No no no no no please don't!" Her voice was frantic, and She knew just as much as Chase that she was hated by him, and their dad just wanted any reason to hit her

"Man, so quick to turn your words around, haha...get dressed, retard. Your bus is coming in like an hour"

"I-...yeah, I know...ill get ready..." Her voice softened and wobbled as she got closer and closer to crying, never really able to take being called names, and knowing if she retaliated she would just get hit. Her vision blurred as she slipped a blue t-shirt, black leggings, along with her black hoodie and some short socks to go on with her cleanest, and only, pair or shoes, a nice matte black pair. After all that, she packed her favorite stuffed cat into her bag and walked out to the bus stop, just trying to stay calm. After a few minutes, the bus eventually came and She hopped on it, sitting alone.

Conference between Emily and her friend Miranda:

"Hey Em, you alright?" Miranda sounding concerned, knowing something was up if she was sitting by herself. Normally Emily loved sitting next to her, and did so regularly...unless something was wrong

"Y-yeah...im fine" Emily had nodded and tried to stop her voice from trembling as much as possible, though it could be heard if listening closely

"Emily, I know when you're lying" Miranda got up and sat next to Emily, making sure to annoy her
"Now tellllllll meeeeeeeee"

"I-...Miranda..n-nothings wrong..." Emily moved her head and stared out the window as her eyes continued to water

"Alright, you asked for it!" With almost no hesitation Miranda pulled Emily into a big hug, laying her head on her shoulder, and getting nice and snuggled up
"Now! Tell me what's wrong"

"Its-...i just had a bad dream...alright? I-ill cheer up...for you" Emily lay her head on top if Mirandas, and almost fell asleep before the bus eventually stopped, and She went to her homeroom, and just played on her phone for a bit. Not much happened through the day, but Emily felt a sense of dread and upsetness as she hasn't seen Abby all day, due to her absence. Emily didn't say a word to anyone, throughout the entire day. She had also missed the bus home because of a water spill she had to clean up.

Phone call between Emily and her dad:
"H-hey...d-daddy?" Emily had a slight sense of worry as she feared his quick temper, and already burning hatred

"The hell do you need? I'm busy, child"

"I-i-...m-missed the bus....c-can...you p-pick...me u-up?"

"Aha, good joke. I'm not your slave, child. Like I said, I'm letting my slutty daughter boss me around!"

Emily sniffled, her eyes watering "s-sorry...i-...y-youre right....i-im just an idiot...i-ill start walking.." She hung up, letting out a whimper, along with some tears, and started her 45 minute trek home, a place she didn't even want to be.  Including breaks, she took an hour to get home, and hid her face, going straight to her room the second she arrived.

Excerpt from Emily's Journal:
"Book time...its REALLY late and I can't sleep. God im so useless. I didn't even see Abby today, and I've almost cried multiple times all because I'm retarded. I'm actually Just retarded,  and better off just dying. Nobody cares about me. My dad and brother don't even pretend to. At least mommy acts like she cares about me...even though she doesn't at all. All I ever do is cry and complain and expect sympathy. I'm glad I had to sit by myself at lunch because my 'friends' care about me so much. Haven't been shown any physical affection in days. I'm too reliant on affection and things like that, and im sick of it. Daddy and Chase would just be smiling wider than ever before if I was just hit by a car tomorrow. They couldn't care less about me, and I can't blame them. I do nothing but whine and cry about every little thing. I'm just a useless whore
