Taking another sip of her martini, Raven shook her head ignoring her ex from across the room. They both just recently broken up and to see him across the room with another women, a women he repeatedly told her not to worry about sitting in his lap, she been feeling some type of way. The fact that he was able to not hide the affair anymore was hurting her as she sees his true intentions on the constant arguments he always put himself into.
Not even want to cause a scene, Raven just simple ignored it and enjoy her times with her friends by the beach. Taking a trip to Hawaii was a group relaxation with her friends, but taking a couples trip wasn't as she was the only one single out of the entire group of nine. She was out of place and couldn't stand going to events that involved couples. How embarrassing it is to step aside and wait for a man to date for the entire event.
Not wanting to sit and wait for her friends to finish this couples challenge, she grab her things and started to head to the beach. The main point was to come here and relax, so she was going to do just that. While, removing her sandals to walk on the sand, she reach halfway until she heard a loud, "Look out!" from the side. Turning her head, she covered her eyes as she watch a spiral football heading straight her direction at close range. Not having time to put her stuff down she waited for the impact, while covering her head.
But, it didn't happen she heard heavy foot stomps and a low grunt over her shoulders. Looking up the beach was still in front of her and her body didn't felt numb. "You 'ight?" Hearing that accent she turn her head to the right and watch a man walk up to her with a full body of tattoos.
"Yeah, I'm good," Raven said straightening herself out."Thank you."
"No problem. Odell." He outreach his hand and she took it realizing how big they are compared to hers.
"Raven," Slightly pulling my hand, he seem to not let go. His hands were rough with a few calluses. His fingers were long as hell too.
"I know this may seems a little weird, but I been eyeing you for a brief minute,"
"Really?" I asked a little weirded out. He laugh showing that big smile.
"Yeah. You seem bored since you got here. Almost as if you didn't even wanted to go."
"I did before, until I realize it's a couples trip."
Nodding his head, he understand. "Damn, no boyfriend huh?"
"I did, but we broke up before the trip. He with his side piece now over there." I motion my head behind me. Odell shook his head, smacking his lips. Noticing her group of friends getting up, he started to wrap up what he wanted to say.
"How 'bout you hang out with me later today? Ain't no couples, just me and my homeboys along with one of their girlfriend." Pouting her lips. She thought about it. She never was the type to leave her friends hanging, but recently they been leaving her hanging a lot.
"Okay." She agreed slightly smiling. "What's your number?"
"Ouu, you beat me to that?" He smiled pulling out his phone.
"You gotta' be quicker then that." Typing my number I'm since I can't seem to know where I place my phone, we both walk off. I finally reach the lounge chair and place my belongings.
"Raven, who was that guy you was talking too?" Ryan said as she watch the Odell run off towards his groups of friends.
"The man that saved my life." I shrugged continuing walking towards the beach chair.

Slipping on my green heels, I spray a bit of my favorite perfume and grab my belongings. Odell just texted me a few hours ago about a club he was going to go to and wanted me to join. He offered to drive me there also, to which put a bad taste in my mouth. It wasn't that I was willingly going to take a ride with a stranger, but the fact I was going with a NFL player. Eventually, I decided to do a little research on him and recently found out that he's playing for the New York Giants.
The publicity wasn't something I was fond about, but at this point it was her only time to actually have fun without being drag by a group of love birds. Grabbing her small bag and fixing her ponytail, she walk out of her single room and head downstairs. All nine couples, including her ex and his side piece, basically live in the same mansion. The trip was prepared months prior to there breakup and finding other houses were filled and already stressful enough.
So, she let it be and grab her own spare room. While, walking down the steps, she heard a loud, "Ooooo," coming from a group of people. She didn't realize that people were downstairs watching the game and making dinner.
"Girl, where you going looking like that?" Jude said while sipping her wine. Raven worn a tight, but loose fitting mini dress that nearly stop above her ass. He didn't show to much as she wanted to dance, but it was nice enough for any type of easy access.
"To the club with Odell."
"Oh, Odell the football player or Odell the NFL?" Jude said. I look at her dumb, as she took a sip of her drink smiling.
"Imma ignored that, but anyways," Raven look at her phone as she saw his text. "Imma see y'all later." I smiled walking off. The boys weren't no where to be found and she was happy about that. Since then being her ex friends, she didn't need to feel uncomfortable about walking in front of them towards my date.
The mansion parking was quite big and spacey, when Raven walk around the corner as she saw Odell Range Rover, she heard talking and laughing and realized that the boys were still here. They were talking to Odell, and then it hit me that Odell was really well known between a lot of celebrities. I walk up before them slowly until Odell saw me.
"Uh, move out the way fellas'." Odell said getting out his car. The boys to which consent of Terrance J, Michael B. Jordan, Stello Brim, and her ex Jay turned around and look at me as I walk up to Odell.
"Hol' up you ain't told me it was Raven?" Stello said slightly laughing. "I thought it was some other chick. Okay, Sid." I turned quick and hit Brim in his chest. "Damn, I'm just giving you a compliment."
"Hmm." I simply said. Walking pass the boys I got inside his car as he politely open the passenger door for me.
"Keep my sis safe, man. I don't need her being on no ratchet shit." Michael said sticking his head inside the window.
"Don't worry I got ha'. Imma see y'all later." Slightly waving again Michael since I trust him the most we took off to the club.
