Talya was laid in bed when her door swung open to reveal Lucy.
"What's wrong?" Talya jumped out of bed upon seeing the look on her face. The girl shut the bedroom door before turning to the other girl.
"Tell your boyfriend, next time he wants to pass letters not to send men to drag me into an alley, I chopped two guy's hands off." She tossed the letter at her cousin before throwing herself onto the bed. Talya put the unopened letter into the bin. Lucy gave her a look.
"What?" She asked defensively.
"You really are the most boring person in the world aren't you?" She said with a roll of her eyes before going to grab the letter.
"Fine, fine, I'll read it." she said with a sigh. "privatly." Lucy groaned, but obeyed and once her cousin was gone she picked up the letter.
Talya,
I know you're worried about your father, but I think I have a solution, meet me on Friday outside both Shelby and Martineau territory.
Please come.

There was only one place that neither families had captured yet, The Hanged Man, that place scared even Talya. She shuddered and moved towards the fire, throwing the letter in, just like she had with her brothers.

"Talya!" A shout woke her up from her slumber on Wednesday morning. The voice was her fathers, he believed in yelling at people whole heartedly, but shouting people from around the house wasn't his style. She shrugged on her silk dressing gown, grabbed her gun and ran, crashing into Lucy in the hall, they gave eachother a look and flew into her fathers study to find him backed into a corner, a tall man inching closer to him. Before Talya even thought, Lucy's blade flew through the air and into his leg. Talya strode towards the man as he collapsed and stuck him in the temple with her gun.
They had the man in the basement, to their amusement he screamed, constantly.
"Hello? Mister? You do know where you are right? Everybody who is close enough to hear your screams works for me." She laughed, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Be a doll and tell me why you were trying to kill my father." The man spat in response.
"I'm not telling you anything, whore." Her eyebrows raised, rage taking over her features as she punched him, straight across the jaw, the force alone was enough to knock him, and the chair he was tied to, onto the the ground. Talya sent Lucy a look and she nodded, putting him and the chair back in place.
"Let's try this again sweetheart, and this time, remember your place." Fun loving, playful Talya had gone now, Lucy noticed as she pulled out a knife and strode towards the young man.
"Who do you work for?" She asked, receiving only silence. Carefully she slashed across his torso. "Next ones the face." She spoke, her voice deep, for her at least. Even Lucy was scared. "Who. Do. You. Work. For?" She screamed, centimeters from the man's face.
"Fuck you." His voice trembled as he made his last stand. Lucy saw it all in slow motion, the anger on her face, the movement of her knife, the blood spewing from the man's throat as his head fell back, and then the closing of the front door.
"Perfect timing, that'll be Raph and Viktor." Talya smiled, Lucy looked at her in shock, she was suddenly back to normal, even though her silk dressing gown was now covered in intruder blood.
"Talya!" Raphael Exclaimed as the two emerged from the basement. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, none of the blood is mine." She replied, giving him a hug.
"We should leave you more often! Where's the body?" Viktor asked, getting straight to business, like he hadn't been gone almost a month. Lucy took her father to the basement while Raph and Talya walked to the kitchen.
"What happened?"
"Caught him trying to kill father, called me a whore, so I killed him."
"For trying to kill him or for calling you a whore?" he said with a knowing look, everyone knew about Talya's feelings towards her father, she wouldn't kill him, or let him die, but didn't necessarily like the man.
"How's America? Meet anyone nice?" She asked, changing the subject.
"Don't be trying to marry me off. You won't get rid of me that easy."
