Chapter 3: Undecided

 "hmm such choices hard to decide, you are smart like a Ravenclaw, brave like a Gryffindor, your slick like a Slytherin but kind like Hufflepuff, hm hard to decided were to put you oh um, UNDECIDED!" The house shouts as all the Students and professors gasp in shock. McGonagall stares in shock and removes the hat as Star sits there confused, "come with me dear" Mcgonagall says as she led star out of the great hall as everyone watched in shock.'

Star and Professor McGonagall walk up towards Dumbledore's office as a few other professors follow as well with worry and concern, Star wasn't sure what's going on, was it because the hat called out undecided? she wasn't quite sure what was going on. "professor? whats going on? why did the hat call out undecided?" Star asks as the professor remained silence. Truth be told, nobody knew what was going on. As the silence of the hallways filled the school, The professors and star herself made it to a special room, It's like the room of requirements but not such this, its a room, that was glowing in a bright gold color. "Wait here dear," Professor McGonagall says as she and the other professors including Dumbledore himself all had a talk not too far away, with small glances looking at star as they talk about what shall we do, the hat has never called out undecided before this is all new to everyone. After some time has passed The professors all turn to star in a calm but worried way. "Star, do you know whats going on?" One of the professors asked her. " N-No I don't I'm sorry am I supposed to know?" Star asked worried. "The hat has called undecided and you're a first-year, the hat cannot figure out which house to put you in, for now, we will let you decided which house to go to, which means that for a couple of weeks you will stay in each house for a while till you decide which house you will go in" Dumbledore says calming with a smile on his face. Star sits there shocked and surprised as she thinks on which house to start off first. "how long do I get to stay in each house?" Star asked as she looks at the teachers. " That is up to you as to when you can choose, though I'm sure you will do fine in all of them," Dumbledore says.

As the teachers were all explaining to Star about the situation, the students sat there eating the food that had magically appeared. All but one specific Slytherin. Orion sits at her table confused and with loads of questions,' out of all the students here how come the hat called undecided for her?' Orion thinks in her head as she starts to eat while doing so the doors open and Dumbledore and the professors with Star standing beside him all walk-in, all the students whisper and some grew quiet waiting to see what will happen to the young witch. " Attention everyone, We have all to come to a conclusion as to what will happen to this student, we have decided that for the next couple weeks here, she will stay in each house for a couple of weeks and switch to the next house, once she has been in all houses she will come up and decided which house she will belong in, if she chooses one of your houses I highly hope you welcome her with welcome arms and warm smiles" Dumbledore announce as all the students grew quiet. Orion looks at star curious to know which house to start off first. " Well I have come to a conclusion as to how I will do this, I will Choose Hufflpuff as my first house, the next house I will choose will be Slytherin, Ravenclaw and then Gryffindor" star says to the group of students as the Hufflepuff house cheers in delight. Orion gives a gentle smile towards \star hoping she would not notice, Star walks down and walks towards the Hufflepuff table and sits down with them smiling, This week will be interesting.

Now before I continue for a few minutes I want to clarify as to which professors are the head of the Hogwarts houses, I did my research correct me if I'm wrong.

Ravenclaw-Professor Flitwick

Slytherin: Professor Snape

Gryffindor: Professor McGonagall


Hufflepuff: Professor Sprout

A few weeks have passed as the first years continue on their daily lives at Hogwarts, A few mishaps here and there involving Harry potter and the trio but all is calm for the moment. Star continues to be in the Hufflepuff house for the rest of the week and by then she would be prepared to move towards Slytherin, though it seems the Slytherin house does not get along with anybody. Though, at least that's what she knows. "Hey Star!" Orion shouts from down the hallway as Star stops and looks over, "Hello Orion! its been a while since the train" Star replies with a  warm smile to her face. "Heh yeah, it has been, anyways you ready to be a Slytherin for a week?" Orion replies with excitement in her voice. Honestly, she acts like a child if you let her. "I'm a bit nervous I must say But I shouldn't be too nervous, besides, what all could go wrong?" star says as she and Orion walk down the hallway since it was a break. A bunch of students go by them and give them strange looks, a Hufflepuff getting along with a Slytherin? well star isn't ever in the Hufflepuff house yet shes just taking turns with all the houses, seems weird right? Not at all! besides, once star finally chooses which house to go to she will do fine. "Orion, everyone is glancing at us" star whispers to Orion with worry in her voice. "it's alright just let them, if they judge us then I'll deal with them," Orion says with a smile as they head to there class. 

During there classes, Star hasn't been able to focus well. With constant headaches, there were constant head spinning and drowsiness, star wasn't sure what was going on, all of a sudden during Professor Flitwick's class, Star...collapses on the ground. All the students sit in shock as the professor quickly expects Star and takes her to the hospital wing. The class was dismissed early that day. 

Star lays unconscious on the bed as Madam Profrey was struggling to see what was going on. Star knew because this happens once or twice a year. Star starts to wake up from being out for so long. "what happened?" She asked Madam Profrey who was standing there with worry, "Star you have been out for a whole hour, are you alright?" she says with worry. "I know whats going on"
