I drove my car into the parking lot of Kimberly high school and park at my reserved spot. I looked into the mirror and took a deep breath. I stepped out of my car with total confidence that nothing could go wrong. After everything that had been going on before I was ready for a new start even though I had to stay in a dorm.
I took all my stuff from the boot and handed over my keys to a woman who had high cheek bones and freckles which ran across her nose, which just happened to be my mum. "Sweetheart, you aren't going  to need that much pillows" she said staring at the heap of pillows I was carrying in my hands "mum stop worrying and go home already" she gave me a death glare and pulled me into a hug "I love you sweetheart"she said in a whisper "I love you too mum".
As I walked towards the dorms I took a good look around every one was at the dinning I noticed, it most be time for dinner I thought. Another thing I noticed was that everyone had their eyes on me, I took a quik glimpse at my outfit which consisted of ripped Jeans and a baggy hoody which complimented the colour of my eyes which where light blue, and white sneakers. I began to walk a little faster into the building.
I heaved a sigh of relief as I found the room that had the numbers 245 at the front I was about to put my key card to open the door when the door slightly opened. I looked into the room to find a girl with long curly lying on the bed face up staring at the ceiling. "Wrong room" she shouted a little rudely " I am pretty sure this is my room but the person downstairs never told me I had a roommate" I replied, she just sighed and looked at me without moving her lower body. I moved towards the bed opposite hers and sat on it. "Hey, I'm Diamond" I said while placing a wide smile on my face "Audrey" she replied without looking at me.
I began to talk to her and tell her about myself and she actually started to open herself up for me too.
"Diamond don't ever forget me Okay?" She said in a very sad voice as she looked as if she was about to cry "why would I do that?" I looked her into her eyes as I replied "because tomorrow you are going to get so many friends and I don't think you will have the time for me again" I knelt down beside her bed an gave her a slight hug and said "I will never forget you okay?" "Okay" she replied "Now let's go for dinner I'm starving"
"Why don't you wanna go for dinner?" I said nearly screaming at the top of my lungs " I'm paralyzed Diamond I can't go there" I should have noticed she hasn't gotten off her bed since I arrived "So how do you eat?" I asked "They bring my food here" I began looking around the room and it's just at that moment I noticed a wheel chair at the conner of the room. Gotcha. "You are coming for dinner with me" I said as I put her in the wheel chair. She was kinda light for a 17 year old.
I rolled Audrey into the dinning as I took two trays to get our food I collected to bowls of chicken soup and two fresh loaves of bread I was walking down the isle in the middle of the dinning as I searched for a table for us to sit when a girl with blonde straight her and a fringe bumped into me that made one of the bowls of soup pour all over my blouse "why don't you watch where your going?" I said in an irritated voice she just turned as if she had just heard an explosion "Are you talking to me?" She said "well durh" I said trying to clean of the stain on my shirt I looked up a few minutes later to notice that everyone at the dinning was watching and some where even with their phones filming the whole accident. "I ain't got your time right now" she said as she walked away. There where a few cheers and a couple of pats on my back I turned towards Audrey who had nearly finished her soup already, she gave me a smile and winked at me.
"Where is everyone going to" I asked "it's social night" she replied in an uninterested tone "What's that" I said a little bit confused "it's an event held every Sunday night to get people to be friends and  blah blah blah" I gave a quick thought of it as I stopped Audrey's wheel chair and shot her a smile "What is that smile for? No no no no, it's not happening"
