After some time, we arrived at a building with the letters 'devil may cry' on it. We walked inside, I was lost in my thoughts, thinking about Elijah. He was always there for me, he is loyal, very loyal and would do anything to protect his loved ones. As I thought of him, I bumped into Nero causing me to fall over but he catching me quickly.
"You okay kid?" He asked, placing me on my feet.
"Yes, I'm fine thank you. Sorry for walking into you" I apologized.
"Its okay kid" He responds.
"She is so dang cute! I might kidnap her later" Nico says ruffling my hair.
I saw strands of my hair shooting loose as my hair tie broke in half, causing my hair to fall free. My ginger 'orange' hair hung until my lower back as some of my hair starting twisting making me look like those kids who model for fashion. Everyone took the moment and looked at me, I felt something build up inside me and my legs became jelly.
"Aw! She is ginger!" Nico picks me up.
"Hmp. She can be a ginger and look innocent but deep down, she wants to kill us" Vergil says as he placed his sword down.
"Nah, she is sweetheart!" Nico argues, placing me down as I slowly walked away.
"I have seen many people that look innocent but they are evil on the inside" Vergil says.
"So?! That doesn't mean she is evil!" Nero joins the argument and I walked to Dante, scared.
"Wait until she grows up and starts killing you all" Vergil responds.
"And besides, what do they want with an angel? Last time I heard, demons don't have angels on a wanted list unless they are evil" Vergil states, which is true but I was kidnapped.
"I'm not evil" I spoke softy.
"Just think of it" Vergil tries to convince them I'm evil.
"Dante. I'm scared, Vergil is scary" I spoke softy as I held his hand.
"Yeah, he is very scary" Dante picks me up, keeping me in his arms.
"I heard he takes disobedient children and gives them punishment" Dante says and it scared me, I hid my face in his shoulder.
"Is he going to take me?" I asked.
"No" He said.
Dante's POV
I know Vergil's trick here. He can sense her power so can I and he wants it and the only way he is gonna get it is by getting her killed and just by looking at her, she is an angel. She is innocent, just by looking in her green eyes, it says everything but Vergil thinks he can get her, he should think again. I'm trying to make him look scary in her eye's so she'd stay away from him.
"Let me tell you something. He is also scared of me" I whispered in her ear and watched her reaction. She had a curious facial expression.
"Really?" She whispers.
"Yes. I beat him so many times, I'm stronger than him and that's why he is scared" I whispered and she giggles. I have this feeling to protect her at all cost.
