Chapter 4

Vrushali's PoV
It has been 4 days for my engagement. My life didn't change.  It was going the way it was going before.  The only change is that I have my engagement ring. He didn't even  called me once. Only his mother called to fix date of marriage and it was decided to be in next month.

But today when I came to college I saw sanvi and ritu waiting for me near entrance gate.  They told me that they met Samarth and he told them that Arjun had flied to U K for his business meeting on the same day of our engagement.

Why didn't  he inform you  Vrushu?  sanvi said .

How she will know,  ritu said.

I don't know  may be he is not comfortable  as we met only once,  I said .

May be,  sanvi said.

Suddenly  harshad came and told us that there is inter college singing competition and it is held by Rathore college.

Hey you  r taking part in this competition right ritu asked me. 

Pata nahi I said.

What ? Pata nahi matlab. Harshad said.

I have to ask Papa for this, I said.

Kyon ?  Harshad said

As she is engaged , sanvi said.

Kya Matlab ? Engagement hui toh kya competition mein part nahi le sakte? 

Nahin aisa nahi hai but still i want to ask my father, I said .

K now let's go  to class otherwise we'll miss our lecture.

Samarth PoV
Today I decided to visit cafe Ayesha which is near I M S college.  I am owner of cafe Ayesha. Cafe Ayesha have 2  more branches and shortly we r going to open new branch.  So I'll be the owner of  4 cafes.

So when I came near the college I saw ritu who was standing near the entrance of the college. I went to her and asked her for whom she is waiting for? And as expected she gave me, 'I don't know u' look. Thank god Sanavi came and while talking to them I came to know that Arjun didn't called Vrushali and she don't know that he is in UK.  God this man,  I have to talk to him.
I called them to have coffee but ritu,  she said no.  Oh god this girl is so stubborn. Dost bhi nahi karegi.

Vrushali's PoV
After dinner I  was searching for the song as my father gave me permission for the competition.  That time bhabhi came to my room  and said , Vrushu  abhi TV pe news aai hai ki Most successful  bachelor business man ka award  Arjun ko mila hai.  Abhi thodi  der mein usaka interview hai. Tu bhi niche chal so we all can see his interview.

His interview was coming on TV.  He has answered all the questions but the answer he gave to question put us in some shock. The question asked to him was wheather he has some one in his life? or Is he planning to marry ? And his answer was,  he don't believe in any commitment.

I am in my room still thinking about what he said that he doesn't believe in any commitment.  Does he really mean that or he simply said that. 

What if he really don't believe in commitment. Then why he is ready to marry me.  I was so confused right now. 

I was disturbed by mobile ring.  My sasu maa called me. 

Vrushu : hello, namaste mammiji .aap kaise ho. 

Arjun's mom: main thik hoon beta.  Tum Kaisi ho.  

Vrushu: ji acchi hoon

Arjun's mom: Shadi ki taiyari kaise chal rahi hai.

Vrushu: ji thik chal rahi hai.

And then she asked me if I had seen Arjun's interview. She told me to ignor what he said on TV and concentrate on wedding.

What is all this. May be mammiji is right. I am over thinking.
