Your first 'I love you'

Looking into his deep, rich brown eyes, you fall in love all over again. Your heart melts and butterflies flutter in your stomach. Your heart does a leap and you can't help but smile at him and his mischievous grin.

You lay your head on his chest and whisper,"I love you." The words fell out of your mouth like it had been waiting for this very moment. They felt weird in your mouth but only because you had never packed so much meaning into three words.

"I love you too." you look up at him looking quiet surprised. You had said it hoping it was inaudible. You had only been a couple for 1 year and you didn't want to rush into things, but what you felt was to much to keep in. You love him. Simple as that. Yet you whispered it.

"Nope. I love you more." he said, pointing a finger at you.

You giggle making him smile. Suddenly your face straitened and you say,"Impossible. I love you most."

"Nuh-uh. I love you most!"

"No I love you most."

"No I do"

"No I do."

"Nope. I love you more. no la-la-la-la-la-lA-LA-LA-LA-LA-!!" he had his fingers in his ears, attempting to drown you out as you said,"No because I love you! I love you,I love you,I love you,I love you, I LOVE YOU!I LOVE YOU!I LOVE YOU!I LOVE YOU!!!"

Finally, you stopped, do to laughter.
"We are such children." He said, wiping a tear from his cheek.

"Yup." you said simply.

"Yup." he said looking at you, grinning.

"Yurp."

"Mmmhm."

"Okay stop."

"You stop."

"I did stop."

"If you did I would have."

"No because you suck." You say ending the childish games.

"I love you (y/n)" he said grabbing you into a bear hug.

"I love you too Leo." you hug him back.

"I love you most."

"Shut the fuck up."

"Okay."
