4: George Ruins My Happiness

The next day, I just arrived at school and Selena welcomed me at the door of the class. She said, "Hey! I have a question for you."

"What is that?" I asked while I was walking to my chair and then I sat on the chair. Selena sat on my table. Okay, this was weird enough. I just saw a girl is sitting on a table.

"Do you have best friends or something like gangs?"

I thought I was having a heart attack. Should I say that I have no best friends even friends? Does it sound like I'm trying to make her care of me or make her want to be my best friend? Ah I dont know. But, my mouth just immediately said, "Well, I'm just a boy who is bullied everyday by the popular gangs and I have no friends to help me." I felt like I'm stupid.

"But, actually you're a lovelable person! I'm happy being your friend," she said with her beautiful smile as always.

"Oh thank you so much. So do you," I replied with a smile on my face.

"What time will the class start?"

"At 7. 15 minutes left."

"Okay. I wanna go to the toilet. I'll be right back soon!"

"Okay."

The bell rang. Break time! I went to the cafetaria alone, without Selena. I didn't know where was she. She just left the class right when the bell was ringing. On my way to the cafetaria, everyone stared at me with why-the-hell-are-you-here look. I just put my face down so I couldn't see their faces.

At the cafetaria I went to the lines to order foods and beverages. After that, I looked around finding the empty table to be sat for. But, what I found was that Selena talking and laughing with George. I was like, so she left me for George.

"Hey, Staer!" Selena waved to me with her big smile and intstructed me to join them.

I just smiled and went to them eventhough my heart was beating so fast. "Staer, you must have known them. George, Albert, and Frank. Guys, this is Staer, my first friend here," said Selena introducing them to me.

"You? Selena? Be friends with this nerd? How come?" asked George repeatedly with a surprised face.

"What's wrong? He's a nice guy. You guys should be friends with him. Staer, you should have many friends." Selena adviced me like there's nothing wrong between me and them.

Before I had a chance to refuse, George whispered to Albert. Then, Albert went to the ice creams section. I wondered what would they do. Suddenly, Albert poured the ice cream that he just bought to my face. He was like, "Oops, sorry I didn't watch my steps."

And everyone laughed. Included Selena.

"I'm sorry, Staer. But, your face is so funny with that ice creams. I can't help it. Hahaha," said Selena. She was still laughing.

I put my food on the other table and then I turned around going to the toilet. It was shameful. I covered my ears with my hands. I didn't wanna hear their laugh or what they were saying to me.

-Selena's POV-

Ow? I said something wrong. I shouldn't say that. He must be so ashamed. What should I do now?

"Hey, look at that nerd who is trying to be friends with the queen, Selena. Look what he got! Hahahaha!" George shouted.

"Staer! Wait! I'm sorry!" I chased Staer to say sorry, because I really didn't mean it.

"Selena!" George pulled me and he kissed me immediately. "You're so beautiful, don't need to be friends with a nerdy like him."

I slapped him and left away to chase Staer. He was so impudent. We just knew each other today and he dared to kiss me? Wtf.

"Selena, you will regret it!" George shouted it loud. "Go back to your activity, jerks," he said to all of the students in cafetaria who was staring at them.

-Staer POV-

I should've known that I am not proper to be friends with Selena. She's famous. She's beautiful. She's a great entertainer. She's almost perfect. Me here just a trash.

After I felt better, I went out the toilet to eat my lunch at the park. It's 10 AM. I'd better hurry because the class start at 10.30.

"Staer, I'm sorry."
