Rodney was lying in the hospital bed all confused. All he knew was he was hurting and he wanted Del....
Rodney started to cry...."I want Del!" Rodney cried out.
All of a sudden Del rushed to Rodney "I'm here Baby bro I'm here!" "DEL" Del lay next to Rodney stroking his hair as he gently moved Rodney into his arms. "What happened?!" "I was fighting with Mickey and he pushed me" Rodney said crying. "MICKEY PEARCE?! IM GOING TO KILL HIM!" All of a sudden Mickey came through the door. Del saw red and jumped Mickey! Beating him black and blue! "YOU COULD OF KILLED MY RODNEY!" Del screamed and pounced on Mickey. "it was an accident Del!" 10 nurses came running to try and restrain Del but none of them could succeed
Rodney was terrified and shouted for Del "Del I'm scared" Rodney looked at Del with his big puppy dog eyes. Del immediately realised Mickey wasn't worth it and ran over to Rodney cuddling him. "I love you Rodders" Del said as he kissed him on the head.
Rodney shut his eyes for the first time since he arrived at the hospital now he felt safe in the arms of his Big Brother. "I thought I was going to loose you like we lost Mum!" Del was holding onto Rodney right causing Rodney to shed tears and cling onto Del even tighter.
"Nobody is ever going to take you away from me, NEVER!" Del sat on the bed with Rodney stroking his hair singing to him a lullaby he sang to him everynight since there Mum died causing Rodney to fall asleep peacefully in his Big Brother's Arms.
