The proposal

The proposal chapter: 5

Star and Marco where heading to the beach to watch the sunset . On there way they head hands while laughing and talking . They sat down on the ground admiring the beauty of the sunset. Marco looked at Star and she was smiling ,looking at the sunset . She smiled and in his head he knew he was ready . He started to get nervous but he knew that he really wanted to do this and forced himself to do it .

Stars POV
Marco stood up and reached out his hand for me to grab it and stand up . I stood up and then we walking to the deck together . He held me with his left hand around my waist and I put my right hand around his shoulder . As we walked we talked about our favorite memories together . When we got to the end of the deck we put our feet in the water and stared at the sunset together , it was so romantic

Marco POV
As we got closer to the deck I felt a bit more nervous with each passing second , in my head I was think about what to say and how to bring it up . Star and I sat down with our feet in the water ,I didn't know I should tell her now or wait a bit longer . I looked at Star and she was looking at the sunset , the sun on her skin just made her glow so elegantly then the wind blew making her long blonde hair move with the wind . She was absolutely stunning .

We got up and Star and I leaned over the edge looking down at the sunset on the water sparkle

Star POV
Star looked at the sunset " wow , this is one of the best sunsets I've ever seen on earth , it's so beautiful " Marco replied " it's beautiful but not as beautiful as you " Star was flattered and while turning to Marco she said " oh stop it..." she was about to finish her sentence when she saw Marco on one knee and holding a beautiful diamond ring .

Marcos POV
When Star said the sunset was perfect I took a deep breath and mustered up the courage , I got on one knee and with the box in my hand I said " it's beautiful but not as beautiful as you " she was about to finish her sentence but when she looked my way she stopped

Star put her hand on her mouth in shook and tears started to form in her eyes . Marco took stars hand " Star , you are the weridest person I have ever meet, but also one of the most beautiful and kindest . Ever since we meet ,you have brightened up my life a whole lot, you are my world and you mean everything to me . I couldn't ask for a better best friend or soulmate than you . This may be one of the biggest question I have ever asked you....

Star started crying even more , Marco stood up while placing the ring on her finger ... will you marry me Star Butterfly ?
Star nodded and then removed her hand from her mouth and said the word " YES !!! " then she pulled Marco in for a kiss she let go and then rapped her arms around him to give him a hug . Star looked at Marco and he was overwhelmed with joy .
They walked back to the beach arm in arm an all their friends and family were there Star looked at Marco with a smile .
