My second mistake was getting into his car when he offered to drive me home.

I know. Stupid, right?

But I guess I just felt at ease with him, because why would a guy my age kidnap me?

Little did I know, that's exactly what he had in mind.

"Where do you live?" he asked.

I told him my address, and he took off with a lurch.

Closing my eyes, I leaned my head against the headrest, trying to fend off a headache that was coming on.

"So, what are you heading home from? You look too young to have a job that ends at this time oat night," he commented.

Without opening my eyes, I responded by saying, "End of the year party. There's one every year, and today, or I guess yesterday, I decided to go."

He then introduced himself as Chase, and I replied with "Nikki" when he asked for mine.

The car went silent after that.

I was too tired to talk, and I guess he realized it.

We hit a speed bump, which caused me to open my eyes.

When I did, I noticed that we were in the south side of the city.

Which was a big problem.

You might be wondering why this was an issue.

Well, it was bad because my house was on the north side of the city.

"Hey, where are you going?" I asked, confused.

"To your home," he nonchalantly replied.

"But my home is the other way," I said in a quiet voice.

He chuckled softly.

"Where are you taking me?" I demanded.

"Again, to your home," he smirked.

I went quiet for a second.

"But I already told you, my house is in the opposite side of the city."

Without even looking at me, he said, "Silly girl. I'm taking you to your new home."

That was the last thing I heard before I passed out.

A/N

Soooooo I'm going to start posting on weekends, not on any specific day anymore. Just so it's easier for me to actually post the chapters, I'll post anytime from Friday to Sunday. It will just take some of the stress off for me, as I have a lot going on with extracurricular activities and homework. But if I do start to get used to writing, I might start to follow a solid schedule. Thanks for understanding, and I'll see you next week!
