Jealousy [3]

Time was precious but I never took it as an advantage. I lost a friend but I never tried taking them back. Many memories always came back trying to tell me what I've done.
I never brought up my past, I never had the courage to. I lost everything I cherished in a blink of an eye yet I never did anything about it. I laid back until it was too late.

I aimlessly look at the din ceiling as thousands of thoughts came to mind. For gods sake, why did I have to meet Taehyung again. Out of everyone I use to know, it had to be him. I let out a sigh of frustration as someone knocked on my door. "Come in," I said while taking a deep breath in.

A nurse walked in with a clipboard in her grasp, "Hello, I just came in to check on you. How are you feeling?"

"I feel normal, a bit dizzy though,"

I watched as the nurse wrote down notes, "anything else?"

"No,"

The nurse nodded and smiled, "We'll analyse some things and you'll be out here in no time,"

I smile back and took a brief look at her name badge, "Thank you Yeonhee,"

She left the room and my shoulders dropped. I laid back my head on the pillow and closed my eyes. Expecting silence, I tried to take a nap but that...Didn't go well.

"Madelineeee!" A whiny voice called.

I groaned and slowly opened my eyes, "What do you wan-"

My eyes were a bit blurry from only just then closing my eyes. I scratched at them and saw the familiar figure.

Small male, red hair-. "Oh my god," I whispered under my breath.

The male appproached me with the warmest smile I've ever seen. "Do yoy remember me?" he questioned.

Flashback

Its been 3 years after he left. Daehwi please come back, you promised to come back. When's that gonna happen? You were my bestfriend and you were the best thing that happened to me. Please come back.

End of flashback

"Daehwi..." I stuttered.

"I'm so sorry it took me 8 years to reach back to you. Time was never on my side,"

My eyes started stinging and warm tears flowed out, "I missed you!"

I sat up and he hugged me, "I missed you so much as well!"

I felt his tears drop onto my shirt and I smiled. It felt good to be with my best friend again. Sure, Taehyung was my bestfriend in highschool but Daehwi was different. We were friends since we were in the womb!

Taehyung's POV
I was told to go to Madeline and tell her that she was getting released from the hospital. I rolled my eyes and made my way to her room.

I arrived to her room but before I slid open the door, I saw another male hugging her. My mouth formed into an "O" shape. Who was he?

After minutes of just staring (yes I know that sounds creepy). A werid feeling started in me. A throbbing feeling of jealousy started. I bit my bottom lip and sighed. It's been so long since I've seen Madeline, why would I be feeling this. I treated her like shit in highschool and became a bully. Why am I feeling like this.

This is somewhat a horrible feeling. Jealousy is the worst feeling I could feel yet It's the only thing happening to me.
