Just keep walking. Don't look back. It's over between you two. If you glance back now, you're going to regret it. He'll think he has a chance with you again, and that you're wrapped around his finger. Well, I'm not. He does not own me. And I refuse to forgive him for this.

I won't be toyed with. I still can't believe that he did this to me. Two days before my senior prom none the less. That bastard cheated on me. With the sluttiest girl in school for god's sake! And then he had the nerve to try and lie to me about it.

"Baby, it's not what you think! We were just studying!" He tried to defend. I scoffed at him. "Studying? What, French 101? Please Michael, you don't expect me to believe you, do you? Your tongue was down her throat!" I spat at him. Then the water works came.

God I hated crying. I felt like such a baby. It's such a girly thing to do. I hate being weak in front of people. But Michael made me feel that way. I thought we were perfect for each other, but I was wrong. He was such an amazing guy. Or so I thought.

The minute my back was turned, he made out with the school slut. Mindy Rogers. God I hate that bitch!

She ruined everything. I was so excited about the school prom. My senior prom! I was almost done with school. And things were looking great for me. I had Michael, and we were talking about our future. I was also deciding between colleges. Thank god I had good grades. And you know what else? I was going to be crowned Prom Queen! Me!

You know how awesome that is? And Michael was suppose to be my king. But screw that idea now. I don't give a damn about him anymore. He's an asshole.

And now here I was. On the day that was suppose to be amazing. My prom night. And you know what? I was dateless and boyfriendless. I was trying very hard not to be emotional. Michael is not worth the tears. I looked great, and I was going to be crowned Prom Queen tonight.

A title I've long dreamed about. Nothing is going to ruin this night for me. Not stupid Michael. And not the fact that I am going to prom alone.

No, I am staying postive. I am going to be happy. This is going to be a great night. I am going to have a blast, and I won't even think twice about---Michael.

I heard my cell phone go off, and I snatched it off my bathroom counter. I was finishing up my make-up. I must say, I looked hot! I looked at the screen, and it read Jess. I flipped it open. "Yeah Jess?" I asked, as I set down my lipstick.

"You sure you're going to be alright tonight, Izzy?" I heard her question me. I let out a sigh of annoyance.

"I'll be fine Jess. I don't care about Michael. I am not going to cry over him. It's pointless. I am going to have a good night, and enjoy wearing that damn crown!" I exclaimed, trying to sound cheerful. Jess let out a soft laugh.

"Alright girl, I'll see you here. I can't wait to see your dress!" She said happily, and I heard the line go dead. I smiled as I hung up the phone as well, and took another glance in the mirror. I did look good.

I loved the dress I had on. It hugged my curves perfectly. It was a long flowing dark pink gown, with a low-cut top that was sexy, but classy. I had my hair curled at the ends, and it gave off that old Hollywood glam looked. My make-up was light and soft, and I was really happy with my appearance.

I put on a smile, as I grabbed purse and walked out of my bedroom, and headed down the stairs.

"Isabella you look stunning!" I heard my mom exclaim, as she ran toward me happily. She wrapped her arms around me, and kissed me on the forehead. "My baby isall grown-up." She said sadly, smiling at me.

I love my mom so much. She is amazing. A woman in her early 40's, she's worked hard all her life, to provide me with a good one. Her dark brown hair was pinned back into a ponytail, and herchocolate eyes glistened as she looked me up and down. I gave her a little twirl.
