It was once again raining outside. The drops of heavy water falling down and hitting the window of your bedroom, making a loud noise. You woke up. Sitting up and rubbing your eyes, you yawned.
You then stopped and remembered the events from last night. The clown cuddling you in your sleep.
"That sounds weird... even when said in your head."
You laughed. The clown was no longer there, There was clear evidence of someone laying down next to you. You just assumed he must have things to do.
You stood up from the bed, got dressed and headed down the stairs. You heard shuffling coming from your mothers room as you were about to go down the stairs. You darted your head into the direction of the noise, slowly heading back up the stairs again. You look down the hallway, where your moms room was. "Hello?" You called out. No answer. You assumed it might be pennywise clowning around in there. You hesitantly took steps towards your mothers room. With one hand placed on the doorknob you opened it quickly. To find your mother, in her bed drinking alcohol again. "Mom!" You cried as you ran towards her with open arms and attacked her with a hug. She stumbled backwards on the bed she was seated on. "W-wow, what's got you all exited to see me?" She asked with slurs in her tone. You looked up at her while still hugging her. "T-the clown? Remember?" You said as you gazed at her. She tilted her head like a dog would and slurred out her words "n-no clown. H-h-He hot?" She asked stumbling out of bed, still being drunk. "Mom, you don't remember?" You asked her again. "N-n-no sweetie. I don't remember a sillllllly clown..." she was halfway downstairs carrying a beer bottle. You were happy that she was back, but were confused to as why she never remembered a clown.

The rain poured heavily outside. You were supposed to see the losers club at the park today. Bill called you in and said to meet in front of the Neibolt house instead. Strange that he would change form a park to the Neibolt house instead, since the house in front of the house provided with no protection from the rain. You did not like the old and rusty house. Its existence always has a strong atmosphere when you passed it to go to the store. As if something wanted to lure you closer. And as if something or someone was calling you. You shook off the thought. You were picking out a raincoat to wear, there were multiple raincoats hanging on the hanger by the front door. Thunder can be heard from outside. You settled on a deep red raincoat, that went all the way down to above your knees. You carefully put on the raincoat, making sure the long sleeves from underneath didn't get pulled down. That was the most utterly annoying thing in the world. You shivered. Walking down to the lounge to find your mom on the couch passed out, as you were about to tell her your leaving with your friends for a while. You sighed and took out the sticky note and a pen from the coffee table and wrote her that you are out and will be back. You stuck the note on her forehead so that she does not have to worry. You put on the hood of the raincoat over your head and sprinted outside. The rain never bothered you, you always liked walking in the rain, but you knew walking in open areas while it was thundering could be dangerous. You took your chances and walked at normal speeds towards the Neibolt house.

"Where is Y/N? Is she coming?" Ben questioned through the heavy rain slightly shouting to Bill, as he sat down on the pavement of the house shielding his eyes from the rain. His clothes were all soaked. He never had a raincoat. The others wore a raincoat. They looked sympathetic at Ben. Bill answered. "S-She I-s supposed to c-c-come." Bill answered through the rain. At this point the rain was now slightly calmer. "Guys look! There she is." Beverly alerted the group as she pointed towards you, that was heading for the group. As you were walking you glimpsed at the house feeling uncomfortable. You fastened the pace and hugged Beverly as she said hello. You hugged the rest of the group, greeting them. You pulled your red raincoat more over your head. "S-so why are we here?" You asked them looking at the house. Bill looked at you. "To finish what's not done." Bill said now walking towards the house. "Wow, no stutter." Richie put his hands on the gate watching Bill go up the stairs of the house. Bill looked back at the group. "A-are you going to come? O-or just stand there." He questioned everyone. You took a deep breath and walked along the house up the stairs, now next to Bill, who was looking at the group from the distance. One by one they all slowly approached the house. "We can't do this." Stanley said as he stepped back. Eddie ran over to him. "Hey buddy, listen we can do this." Eddie reassured Stanley and put his hands on his shoulders. Stan looked back at you and Eddie. "C-can't we do this later?! We could figure something smarter now. Please bare with me Y/N." Stanley said. Eddie removed his hands from Stans shoulders and sighed. "Listen Stan, we can do this, just like last time." Mike said form the porch of the house, to where Eddie and Stanley were standing. Eddie walked forward and looked back at Stan. Stan took slow steps towards the house, he was now also on the porch. You opened the door first, to find cobwebs and filth everywhere. You stepped in first, one after one they all stepped in. Stan followed close behind you. You fully took in the inside of the house and all its features. It's like something you would find out of a horror. "Wait, Bill." You stopped and looked at Bill, who was directly behind you. He looked at you.
"Are we here to fight...the clown?" You asked. Bill slowly nodded. He looked around, he found a plank sticking out the wall, he walked over to it and took it. The plank had multiple nails sticking in it. You watched him examine the plank and. You sighed and continued forward.  You did not want to fight the clown. If he saw you as a friend, it made you want to stick close to his side. Even if it attacked your friends. That sounds horrible, but you consider ow the clown and the losers your friends. But now you have to help the losers fight the clown for the sake of their friends. No one really told you why Bill had a extreme hatred towards the being. All the losers did, but Bills hatred was much bigger, Richie once mentioned that IT took someone from him, but you never questioned further.
