Chapter 2- Place to stay

Author's POV

Eddpup, Tomcat, Tordybear, and Mattfox were walking down the slightly lit sidewalk tomcat and tordybear were arguing, mattfox was complaining, and eddpup was getting fed up.

"Eddpuuuuuup my paws huuuuuuuuurt" mattfox continued to complain as he was far behind the others, eddpup sighed and looked at the ginger-fur fox with slight annoyance "Mattfox we just took a break 5 minutes ago your just being dramatic, AND WOULD YOU TWO SHUT UP FOR 1 SECOND!!!" He barked at the light and carmel brown cat and bear.

Tomcat and Tordybear stopped and looked at the angered pup with wide eyes, they didn't say another word just glared daggers at eachother. Eddpup growled and continued to walk ahead of the others as they followed him to god knows where.

/15 minutes later/

The 4 have been walking for a while before deciding to take a break as they walked into the grass and laid down, mattfox was happy to take a rest but the only one who wasn't taking a break was eddpup.

He just wandered around the area they stopped at just because he wasn't all that tired, and he also wanted to get away from the nonsense of the others. He just looked at the houses of the neighborhood they had wandered into, soon he saw something on one of the houses.

"Hey guys, come look at this" he called to the others as he sprinted over to a little door opened on the side of the house, the others soon joined him and stared at the door as well

Tordybear walked closer and looked inside the door to see a little crawlspace "i think this leads inside, cause it like a crawlspace" he said looking back at them "should we go in?" Tomcat asked looking at eddpup.

Eddpup thought for a while before shaking his head "we can't just walk into somebody's house without their permission" he was about to turn around and walk away but a certain bear cub decided to go though the door.

"TORDYBEAR!!!" Tomcat and Eddpup said at the same time and not to long after mattfox ran in as well, tomcat looked at eddpup before heading to the door and going inside as well leaving eddpup standing there.

He shook his head in disapproval before heading inside as well not wanting to be left alone outside. Once he was on the other side and out of the closet he looked around the dark bedroom as the others did the same, mattfox was in front of the full body mirror (coincidence? I think not) Tomcat was looking at the music player and Tordybear was jumping on the bed.

Tomcat let out a slight yawn before walking over to the bed "we might as well stay here the night" he said and hopped on the bed clawing at the blanket before curling up letting out small purrs, Tordybear stopped jumping and yawned as well before going next to Tomcat and laying down, mattfox went over and laid down next to them as well.

"Guys we can't just sleep in a strangers house when they don't even know that we're here- and your sleep" eddpup sighed before walking over to the sleep pile his friends made. Laying down next to Tordybear he thought 'I hope the person that lives here doesn't kick us out like the other places' and then fell asleep to the sound of tomcats soft purrs and Tordybears soft growls.
