Chapter 16 - You Are My Dream

10.00AM, Monday
StarShip Ent...

"Manager-nim, where's Elly?" Kihyun looks around the office but Elly's nowhere to be found. Mr. Kim looks up at him.

"Elly? She left. Didn't she tell you?" Kihyun's eyes widen.

"Why did you let her go?!"

"It's because she insisted herself. I can't do anything, I can't force her to stay, with you ignoring her.." He glares at Kihyun. Kihyun sighs.

"What time is her flight?" Mr. Kim glances at his watch.

"1PM, probably. Are you gonna stop her?"

No answer from Kihyun.

"Go. Bring her back if possible," As soon as Mr. Kim said that, Kihyun rushes himself to the airport. He brings I.M and Shownu along.

"Boys. Let's go to the airport. We're gonna witness a tearful reunion of a couple. Wear your cap and mask!" Mr. Kim orders.

Minhyuk, Jooheon, Hyungwon and Wonho are all confused, but then they get ready to go.

At the airport...

"Ticket is ready. Baggages checked in. Now, where to eat?" Elly talks to herself while looking around for a restaurant. She's been hungry since early morning.

Her eyes catch a poster of Monsta X on the wall. She smiles. She misses them.

She left this morning without telling the boys, especially Kihyun. She just told Mr. Kim about her leaving, eventhough it's obvious on Mr. Kim's face that it's hard for him to let her go. But, for the sake of the group, she's willing to sacrifice. She doesn't want to be the person who destroys any person's future career.

She continues walking to find a nice restaurant to eat. As soon as she is about to walk into a restaurant, she hears someone calling out her name.

"Elly!" Elly turns to where the voice came from. She sees three men running towards her, all wearing caps and masks.

Her eyes become teary because the first person she sees coming to her is... Yoo Kihyun.

Kihyun catches his breathe before he talks. He ran from the entrance to find Elly. Behind him are Shownu and I.M.

"Why.. Are you here?" Elly tried to hold in her tears. She thought that Kihyun would never come and see her. But now, here he is, standing in front of her.

"Micheosseo? I should ask you! Why are you leaving?" Kihyun wipes off the sweats drenching on his forehead.

"I.. Just don't want to be the person who ruins everything in your team. This the best choice I have. I can go back to my old workplace, that's much better," She stares at Kihyun, and then at Shownu and I.M behind.
