Regionals

Ozzy

We were finally at regionals! We had been waiting for this all year. It was so beautiful here.

I was walking hand in hand with Richelle. Our relationship was going really well, even though she did act kinda strange sometimes.

Her and Noah where the first to perform so they had to go warm up and get changed. I went to talk to jacquie instead as she was saying bye to noah.

"It's exciting, isn't it?" I asked her, she looked up at me and nodded.

"I feel so anxious for richelle and noah" she told me.

"Same, but they'll be alright" i said patting her back lightly. She smiled at me and then told me that she was going to talk to michelle about something so i nodded.

After a while, the team went to go and watch noah and richelles duet as they were up next. If they didn't win this round, we were going home already. No pressure.

Richelle

Me and noah were now in our duet costumes, waiting at the edge of the stage to go on.

"Richelle," Noah said, turning my shoulders so i could face him. "I just wanted to say, thank you for everythig you've done for me, From j-troupe to now, on this regionals stage. We have come so far, and most of it is thanks to you, so thank you richelle."

I felt a teardrop run down my cheek, i'd never been this emotional infront of anyone. "Your saying it like your leaving. Are you?" I asked, wiping another tear from my face.

"I haven't decided yet" he said, and i nodded. "Just go out there and give it your all" he saud as we were called onto the stage.

Our duet was about two ex-lovers. I was the ghost and noah was visting his wifes grave. All they wanted was one last dance. And similarly, this could be and noahs last dance. This meant everything to me.

we finished our dance, and bowed as the audience clapped. I was so lost in my own thoughts i forgot we were being watched.

The judges announced we had won the round, and i was happy but i couldn't show it. I rushed past everyone and out of the stage room.

Ozzy

I found richelle sitting on the floor on one of the corridors.

"Don't you wanna watch the other dances?" I asked her.

"I'm not in the mood" she replied. I could tell she needed me, as her boyfriend and her friend.

"Me neither" i shrugged and sat down beside her. "What's up?"

She held her head down and sighed, "Noah's leaving"

"As in the whole of TNS?" I asked, surprised. She nodded slowly. Noah was one of my best bros. How could he leave?

I sighed aswell. I had to be strong for the both of us. "Listen richelle, i know that its upsetting to let people go, but sometimes you just have to do it. I'll always be here for you if you need me though."

I watched a tear roll down her eye and i put mt arm around her and pulled her to my chest, "don't cry, please." I said, wiping her tears with my thumb.

She wiped her face and sat up, as if she was trying to hide that she was sad. She looked up at me and smiled, "thank you ozzy, for everything" she told me.

I got up and held my hand out for her, so she could pull herself up. When she was up i put my arm around her again, "Richelle, I love you, you know."  I felt her freeze in my arms. "Richelle? You good?" I asked, nudging her a bit.

"Yeah," she answered. "I'm fine."

This is the end of the book. I hope you enjoyed it as much as i enjoyed writing it! I'm probably going to do part 2 soon which will be purely made up scenes instead of changing scenes from the original seasons. So look out for that!
