Da chapter that does nothing important

As we were flying back all I could think about was my sister it was hard to forget about her when every time I looked in the mirror I could see her. The Leo boy kept saying 'this is awesome' and 'how does this work,' but then he finally stopped making remarks and asked "where are we going?"

"A safe place," I said "the only safe place for kids like us. Camp Half-Blood."

"Half-Blood." the girl they called Piper said spitting out the words as if they were her worst enemy.

"He means we are demigods, half god, half mortal." the Jason boy answered

"You seem to know a lot Jason. But yes demigods. My dad is Poseidon, god of the sea. Butch is the son of Iris, goddess of the rainbow."

Leo laughed "your mum is a rainbow goddess?"

"You got a problem with that?" Butch snapped back

"No, no!" Leo replied quickly "Rainbows, very macho."

"Butch is one of our best equestrians, he gets along great with pegasi." I said

"Rainbows, Ponies" Leo muttered

"I'm gonna toss you off this chariot," I know Butch and even though his mum is the goddess of the rainbow it doesn't mean he is all rainbows and lollipops.

"Demigods," Piper said "you mean you think we're-"

Lightning flashed and the left wheel caught on fire I watches as the white flames licked the side of the chariot. Then a crowd of anemoi decided to attack us. We were fighting to gain control of the chariot as we approached camp, but then the chariot dropped out the sky. I controlled the water to carry us down to the lake but even so it still hit us quite hard.

I climbed out the water and other campers helped to get the others out and blasted the others with big bronze leaf blowers to dry them. When Will came marching over.

"Percy!" Will said as he pushes through the crows "I said you could borrow the chariot not destroy it!"

"Will, I'm sorry ill get it fixed I promise." I sighed

Will looked the three new demigods up and down "these are the ones? Way older than thirteen. Why haven't they been claimed yet?"

"Claimed?" Leo asked

Before I could answer Will asked "any sign of (y/n)?" it was all I could do to stop tears welling up in my eyes so I just shock my head.

Then Drew stepped forward "Well, I hoe they are worth the trouble."

"Gee thanks. What are we! your new pets?" Leo joked

"No kidding," Jason said "How about some answers before you start judging us-like, what is this place, why are we here, how long do we have to stay?"

"Jason," Annabeth said coming through the crowd I was glad because I didn't think I would be able to talk without bursting into tears, "I promise we'll answer your questions and Drew all demigods are worth saving. But I'll admit it didn't sound like the trip accomplished what we hoped it would." she looked back at me

"Hey," Piper said "We didn't ask to be brought here."

Drew sniffed "And nobody wants you hon. Does your hair always look like a dead badger?" Piper stepped forward with murder in her eyes but Annabeth stopped her.

"We need to make our new arrivals feel welcome," Annabeth said "hopefully by campfire tonight they will be claimed."

"Would somebody tell me what claimed means?" Pipper said annoyed

Suddenly everyone looked at Leo "that's what claimed means," Annabeth said

Sorry it takes me so long to update guys but with stuff going on and having to copy the book and change it and do homework I have no time!
