Once me and Ginny stared walking around I remembered why I thought of her in the first place. "Ginny something big happened yesterday..." she looked at me and said, "what happened Mia are you ok?" I laughed and told her i was fine. Even after all these years she still worries about small things. "Well my prom is coming up at the high school, and... well, Draco asked me to go with him!!" I said excitedly. She laughed and said, "I KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN" really loudly. Man I love her. "Would you help me pick out a dress Gin? I've never been good at this BUT before you say anything, we are going to shop in my muggle town thank you very much." She outed for a sec, but the brightened up and apparatus is to an ally near a dress shop in my small town. The second she entered the shop she dragged me around with her to pick up random dresses for me to try on. I told her that I wanted them to be a Slytherin green color but with maybe gold or silver trims. She nodded and walked around. She found like 10 dresses and I vetoed the ones that were too short or showed to much cleavlage. It left 4 dresses and I tried them all on. One was pretty but I thought it was too tight so I declined it. Another one had sleeves that I didn't like, and another was just ugly so when Gin saw me in it she said no and threw it in the other direction. It left the last one, and I fell in love with it right when I tried it on. It was a plain green dress with a silver chain around the waist. It was simple yet elegant and it was made with silk.it showed just enough cleavlege and it was an off the shoulder dress.

"Hermione I think it's the one!" Ginny sighed when she saw me in it. "Yea Gin you might just be right! I love it!" Right when I finished saying that, a group of girls from my school walking in and saw me. They widened their eyes and stopped talking. They looked at Ginny questioningly, as if asking why she was next to me. I realized that I never really treated the people at my school wry right, so I decided to make up for it. "Hi you guys go to my school right?" I asked sweetly. Gin looked really confused when they flinched away from me. "Mia what's wrong with them? It looks like they are scared of you and if your the same Mione from school, everyone loved you and you are the sweetest thing in the world!" She laughed and at that the people around us looked at her and kinda looked puzzled because of 1. She was talking like she had known Hermione Granger for years, and 2. She said Hermione was nice when they went to school and 3. She said that everyone loved her "Well except Draco for a while, but looks like that changed!" She winked at me, and I blushed realizing that I was still in my soon to be prom dress. I smiled at her weakly and said, "well Gin, I haven't been that Hermione for a while. I've kept myself closed off since... well you know. I didn't make any friends and wouldn't risk it with anyone new to be friends or to go on a date or anything. Now that I think about it, I'm soo sorry," I said now looking at the group of girls, "I have been such a jerk, and none of you guys deserved it. I was rude to everyone in the school, and rejected lots of friendships because I was scared of getting hurt again. I hope you can forgive me?" I said almost pleadingly. They all looked reluctant and Ginny wasted no time in giving me a hug and kissing my cheek she looked at me and said, "Mione, only someone as dumb as my brother would cheat on someone as amazing as you. Your the best thing that happened to me, and one of the only reasons I married that idiot. You are amazing and I'm so sorry that that happened to you. I know you loved him, but maybe it was all for a reason cause now you've got Draco. Just promise me that you won't run away again. Losing you parents and Fia-I-I mean, boyfriend, was something really bad, so you would have needed your best friends with you. If you lose Draco to anything or anyone, come to me and Harry and we will personally see to him, just DONT run!?" She was in tears now, and I hugged her tightly. "I won't Gin. I love you and thank you!"
Everyone in the room was shocked even though they were used to me hugging people since I hugged Draco so much, but they only heard me say I love you once to him, and that was when he first showed up. I smiled sheepishly at them and they all smiled back like they were finally convinced that they could trust me. For a bit I was confused at to why, but then I remembered that Gin mentioned what her brother did. Then I looked down at myself and saw that I was still in my dress. "Gin would you mind buying he dress, it's too expensive for me since Ronald took all of our money when I left and Draco's parents didn't give him the inheritance, since he's friends with me and Harry. I will pay you and Harry back but I figured you would have the money?" I asked calmly. I knew she wanted to pay for the dress but is polite to ask before having her do it. "Yea sure go ahead and change." I changed and gave her the dress. I sat down and texted Draco telling him that I would be home soon. One of the brave girls of the group walked up to me and shook my hand. "Hi I'm Melanie. So I was wondering..? Are you going to prom with Draco Malfoy?" I laughed and said, "well yea I guess I am!" She squealed and said, "OMG!!!! You guys have been the cutest couple since before you were a couple and now your together!?" I laughed and nodded my head. "Ok then Melanie. I can tell that your not scared of me right? I'm kinda hoping that all of you guys would forgive me for being rude, but that was the only way I could get people to stop approaching me." They all smiled widely and nodded saying that it was fine and that they all just wanted to be friends with the new girl. "Bye the way, before you go, that dress is beautiful your so lucky!!" I waved at them and left with Gin when she came back from the cash register. Today was a long and eventful day, but it was perfect and I would have had it any other way.
