Audition's, Callbacks, & Plays (Story Time)

This is future me coming to tell you that in this story time I rly focus on the negative. I get too upset over what I dont have instead of being happy for what I do. If u would like the lighter side of things, plz skip to the next part titled "a lighter story time" yeeeeeee

So. I have been stressed.

Yeah

I had an audition on Tuesday that made me rly nevous. I thought  maybe I had a chance. I got a callback last year for the school play Blithe Spirit but didn't get in due to a cast of 7 total    (wow ik) and this years play Our Town has a bigger cast of about 25. So I thought I had a chance. Then about 40 ppl auditioned and that was scary. But I got a callback... along with 16 other girls. There are 5 main girl parts. Ah. The callback was today(Thursday) and it was fun... my director said she would put the cast list on the bulletin board tomorrow morning and then leave for an art show or something... (smart move) but she would put it on Facebook and Instagram as soon as she got it typed up. So I've seen it.

I have 1 line. Cool....?

I mean I'm excited, but still a bit disappointed. I wanted Mrs.Gibbs but I rly didn't care who I got as long as it had lines, I wanted something that wasn't the ensemble or not in the show... this part has one line and sits in the audience like the whole play...

I'm still excited though, it's a part I guess... and it's what I deserve. I will be completely fine if she let's me also be in the ensemble scenes, then I won't be in the audience the whole time. I'm excited.

One more thing. A Freshman got the lead. I'm not mad at her, I mean she was RLY good and our director is rly good at giving parts to the best fitting, not the oldest. I'm just a bit jealous of her talent. I had to work my butt off for this role and she just walks in perfect. I dont hate her or anything, she's cool.

Overall I'm excited. Monday is the first rehearsal. Yay. I guess I'll let u know how it goes?
