Jungkook's POV

Jimin was still sleeping in my bedroom by the time I finished cooking dinner. It was getting dark outside, and I hoped that Jimin would feel better by the time he woke up.

I heard a faint sob from the bedroom and rushed towards the room only to see Jimin crying in his sleep again. And this time he seemed to have nightmare too from all the sweats on his forehead. I wiped the sweat and stayed beside him until he calmed down.

"Jungkook?" I looked up from his small and frail hands that were engulfed in mine to see Jimin who was already looking my way.

"Yes, Jiminie?" I softly replied, waiting for the boy to continue his sentence.

"Send me home, please," he whispered out and I felt devastated to hear him say that.

"I can't send you home like this. You know that,"

"I want to go home," his eyes started to glisten and I felt a pang of pain in my heart.

"I'm not going to let you be all alone. Not like this,"

"I want to be alone," his trembling voice traveled through the room and I tightened my hold on his hands.

"Please, Jimin. Please accept me," I said desperately.

"N-No," even in his weaken state, Jimin tried his hardest to pull his hands from my grip and I couldn't help but let go because the pain of seeing him crying like that was so unbearable.

"Please let me go home," Jimin said after a few minutes of nothing but silence between us.

"I'll send you home. But with one condition," I took a deep breath and decided that I shouldn't force him to stay for now. I'll find other ways to get Jimin back but for now, I'll follow what he wanted.

Jimin looked at me without saying anything as I wiped the tears from his cheeks.

"You must eat the dinner I cook. It's only porridge, nothing heavy. I won't let you go until you eat," I said with pleading eyes. His nod made me felt relieved and I rushed to the kitchen to bring the food to him.

His weight shocked me when I carried him just now. I knew that he had gotten a lot thinner compared to high school, but now he was only left with skin and bone.

Jimin always loved to wear large sized clothes therefore his body features weren't that visible. I only knew he was that skinny after I carried him myself.

After I fed him a few spoons of porridge, Jimin refused to take any more food. I decided to pack the rest of the food that I prepared for him and put them in the car as Jimin got ready to go back to his house.

The ride was quiet with me glancing towards Jimin at every chance I got. The later haven't spoken anything nor look to my direction. He only stared at the scenery outside the window for the whole time.

Well, he might not even want to sit beside me if he knew that I was going to stay over at his place instead of going back to my own house tonight.

"Thanks," Jimin muttered out softly after I finished storing all the food inside his empty fridge. I sat down on the sofa and switched on the television.

"Aren't you going back?" Jimin asked from where he stood, which was besides the front door.

"Huh? No. I'm staying over," I said casually and continued making myself at home by flipping through the channels.

"What?" he questioned.

"What? I already send you back to your house, it's just that I want to tag along too," I replied innocently while showing my purest bunny smile together with the brightest sparkling doe eyes I had.

Jimin huffed out and rolled his eyes, feeling irritated by my action. He stomped his feet to his room and slammed the door loudly, knowing that there would be no point to continue arguing with me since I won't back away anyway.

I sighed and leaned on the sofa. There was no way I was going to let Jimin all by himself when his condition was that bad.

"Looks like I'm going to sleep here tonight," I whispered to myself and lied on the sofa, finding the most comfortable position to sleep through the night.
