Ch.4

+Time skip to high school. Freshman year+

Fukase had just finished a video chat on his laptop with his adoptive mother and Cul. He closed his laptop screen and grabbed his back pack that was sitting on the couch.
Fukase was already dressed and ready to go to school.
He grabbed his phone and put it in his back pants pocket.

It wasn't a long walk from his house to the high school.
From a far, his friends spotted him. Piko handed Fukase a cookie.

"Whats this for?" Fukase asked.

"Piko went baking crazy. He made everyone in the group a cookie." Miki said.

"I just wanted to do something nice for my friends." Piko said with a shrug.

"Hey did you hear, Miku has a crush on a boy." Ia whispered.

"Who?" Luka asked.

"What are you guys talking about?" Miku asked as she walked up to the group.

"Miku? Who do you have a crush on??" Luka asked.

Moke held Fukase's hand.

"I... I.. Uh...I'll bring him here..." Miku said.

She walked away.
Everyone was whispering and coming up with guesses. Then Miku came back. She was tugging on the shirt sleeve of a blonde haired boy and led him to the group.

"G-Guys.." Miku said shyly.
This got the attention of everyone in the group.
Miku was never really timid.

"Hey guys. I'm Len. Len Kagamine." He said. He chuckled towards the end of his sentence.

People started talking to him and Miku just held on to his arm.

Fukase wasnt paying attention the entire time. When he saw the blonde haired boy, something inside him clicked.

"Oh and that is Fukase and the thing clinging on to him is Moke." Ia said.

"HEY!" Moke yelled. He hated being referred to as a thing.

Len walked up to Fukase and Moke and extended his hand.

"Hello Fukase. Hello Moke. Its nice to meet you guys." Len said with a smile.

'I see...

..colors.

Blonde silky hair placed in a imperfect ponytail, blue eyes that look like the ocean, beautiful and soft cream colored skin, a bright smile. This look is...heavenly.' Fukase thought.

The bell rung.

"Come on Len! We gotta go!" Miku whined. She was taller than him and stronger so it didn't take much effort for her to move him.

"He seems nice." Ia said.

Fukase remembered every last detail to the blonde's features and couldn't get him out of his head.

During class, Fukase found himself drawing Len in his spiral notebook at his desk.

"Hey Fuka-kun? What are you drawing?" A voice behind him asked.

Fukase quickly closed his note book and glared at the person behind him.

Nero Akita, Neru's younger twin brother, was staring at Fukase with one eye brow raised.

The bell rung for the next class.

Fukase put his things away and walked out.

"I'm telling you, he is an absolute freak." Nero said chuckling to his friends.

Fukase sighed. He knew they were talking about him.

"Something the matter Fukase?"

Fukase turned around and saw Moke behind him.

"No Moke. Nothing is wring. I'm fine." Fukase said.

"No you're not. I can see it in your eyes." Moke said.

Fukase walked away faster.

"Stop walking away when I am talking to you." Moke said.

"Moke. We have to get to class. I will not get in trouble because you want to talk." Fukase said.

"...Fukase.."

End of school hours.

Bump

Fukase bumped into someone on the third floor.

"Watch where you are going, freakazoid."

'Gakupou'

Gakupou pushed Fukase. His books and papers fell and scattered everywhere in the hallway.

Gakupou slammed Fukase against the locker and repeatedly punched him.

An arm grabbed Gakupou's arm before he could do more damage.

"That's enough." Luka said sternly.

Gakupou laughed and put his hands in his pockets before leaving.

Moke came running.

"FUKASE! ARE YOU OK?" Moke yelled.

"I'm fine." Fukase said.

"There is blood everywhere." Moke said.

Miku was walking with Len until she saw Fukase was hurt and came running to them.
Len also came to help. He started to pick up his books and give them to Fukase.

"His body is hurt." Luka said.

"My cousin can come pick us up. I'll drop him off at his house." Len said.

"I'll come too." Moke said.

Len nodded.

Len called his cousin, Lily, and she drove them to Fukase's house. Len helped Moke take Fukase in the house and put him on the couch.

"I'll take care of him from here. Thank you for helping." Moke said.

Fukase was in and out of consciousness but he saw Len give Moke his phone number and asked for an update on Fukase's health.

Len left.

Moke cleaned the blood off of Fukase's face.
