After getting Scrooge unstuck, the group made their way back to the Sunchaser. Louie gave the Staff to Scrooge.

"Behold!" he said dramatically. "The Mystical Staff of Dreams! It can control people's dreams, as well as create new dreams for people."

"Why is it so important?" Dewey asked.

"It's been said that the dreams of people from many years past are in here," Scrooge explained, tapping the crystal at the top. "Also, I think it's pretty. A very nice treasure, indeed!"

Louie walked off to find a secluded place, one where he could look at his gemstone in peace. He hid by the crates near the belly of the plane and took out the stone.

"I can give you what you want," it whispered in a raspy voice. "I can give you all that you desire."

"Really?" Louie whispered back. "Am I dreaming?"

"No, young duckling Llewellyn, you are most certainly not dreaming. You will receive anything you want. Just wish for anything."

Louie thought for a second.

"Okay, if you're for real here, and I'm not going crazy..." he said. "Then...I wish to have all the soda I want."

"Your wish is my command."

Louie waited for a second. Suddenly, mountains of soda cans appeared before him.

"Oh, my--" he yelped..

"Louie, are you okay?" Scrooge asked.

"Yeah, I'm just...watching Ottoman Empire on my phone."

"I didn't think his phone worked at this altitude," Huey said.

Louie looked back at his stone.

"So, do I get all the wishes I want or is there just three like with that Aladdin guy?" he asked.

"No, you can have all the wishes you want. I have unlimited power," the stone whispered.

Louie opened a soda and began thinking of other things he could wish for.

"Uncle Scrooge, do you think something's wrong with Louie?" Huey asked Scrooge when they arrived home.

"What makes you say that, lad?"

"Well, given the high altitude, his phone shouldn't have been able to work without Internet."

"Maybe we were closer to a connection than you think?"

"Maybe. But it's highly unlikely."

Louie was lying on his bed, face down in his sheets. For one thing, he couldn't think of another wish to make. For another thing, he felt sick from drinking 27 cans of soda on a plane that has a pilot who thinks it would be awesome if he could fly 3 loop-de-loops without crashing (Spoiler alert: he did crash).

Suddenly, the door slammed open. Huey stomped into the room and waved papers in front of Louie.

"Louie, I need to talk to you for a minute," he said, still waving around the papers.

"Can't it wait?" Louie moaned, turning over to face Huey. "I don't feel well."

"No, it can't. I want to talk to you about...your phone."

"Ugh, fine, I'll stop using it so much, if that's what's bothering you."

"No, that's not it. I'm saying that I've done research and given the altitude, weather and other factors, there is absolutely no way your phone could've worked in the plane. Therefore, something's up."

"Nothing is up! Leave me alone!"

"Admit it! Something's up! Either you're lying about watching your phone or you did something to it!"

"Go away! Ugh, I can't stand your blathering for so long! I wish you had a mute button like the TV!"

"Well, I don't, so you'll just have to--"

Suddenly, it became rather quiet. Huey was still talking but there was no sound actually coming from him. Louie just stared at him, as he continued noiselessly chatting away, oblivious to what just happened.

Then, he caught on and noticed that he couldn't make any sound.

"Whoa," Louie breathed. "It's quiet for once."

Huey attempted to yell at the top of his lungs, but still remained quiet. He ran off to find Scrooge.

Louie retrieved the stone from his pocket.

"You actually made him mute?!" he exclaimed.

"You made the wish, duckling," the stone said. "I was just doing my job. If you want me to reverse the effects, just wish for me to do so."

Louie considered this for a minute; he could leave Huey like that, but if he did, Scrooge would get suspicious. If he fixed the problem, Huey could still be a tattletale. It was a catch-22. Unless he made another wish...

"Okay, then," he finally said. "I wish that Huey was back to normal. And that he forgot what just happened."

"Your wish is my command," the stone said, glowing a beautiful ocean blue.
