"And he made you mute, you say?" Scrooge asked, after Huey wrote out the entire story for him.

Huey nodded.

"Well, then, go get Dewey and get him to bring Louie to my office. I'll figure this whole thing out."

"Figure what out?" Huey asked.

Scrooge stared wide-eyed at Huey. Just moments before, he had been explaining what Louie may have done, and now he's talking again and forgot what he just said? Most unlike Huey!

"Uh, just...go do whatever it is you're going to do."

"Okay," Huey said, walking away.

Louie sat on his bed, thinking of what his next wish should be.

"Are you thinking of another wish, Llewellyn?" the stone asked.

"Yeah," he muttered. "Wait a minute, I've got it! I wish that I was the smartest person in the world!"

"As you wish," the stone said, glowing.

Louie waited for the wish to work, then grabbed a book off of one of the shelves. However, the book was covered in illegible handwriting and doodles. He checked all of the books and they still had the same terrible, illegible handwriting.

"Hey, what gives?" he said aloud.

"You wished to be the smartest person in the world," the stone responded. "So, everyone else is below your current intelligence."

"What?" Louie said, grabbing one of Huey's journals.

The first entry read I can't seem to find my hat. One moment it's there and wait, I think i found it. Also what's this comma thing for? Above the entry were arrows pointing to the apostrophes in his sentence, and below it was a drawing of what appeared to be Rockerduck.

"So, either everyone is slightly below my intelligence or they're really stupid?" Louie asked the stone.

"You could put it that way," the stone said.

"No, no, no, that's not what I wanted. I wish that everyone was back to normal, before I made that wish."

"Sure thing."

Scrooge stood up after falling on the floor. He took the potted plant off of his head and continued to make his way towards the triplets' room.

Why did that just happen? he thought.

He began to suspect that Louie had gotten a hold of something while he was in the Cavern of Dreams. Huey had noticed that he couldn't speak after Louie said 'I wish you had a mute button like the TV.'

Scrooge came to the triplets' bedroom and knocked on the door.

"Louie, I need to talk to you for a minute!" he said.

"Oh man oh man oh man," Louie said, hyperventilating. "Scrooge'll kill me if he finds the stone!"

"Clearly, you're not a very...think-y type person, are you?" the stone said.

"Think-y? That's not even a word! Why would you say that?"

The stone was quiet.

Louie walked over to the door and hesitantly opened it. Scrooge was standing there, tapping his foot and giving him an angry look.

"Give me whatever you took out of that cavern," he said.

"I don't know what you mean," Louie said, trying his best to keep calm and nonchalant.

"I know you took something else out of there. Now, hand it over."

"I don't have anything! I swear!"

Scrooge pushed past Louie and searched around the room. He looked under the beds, pillows and loose floorboards, quickly checked the shelves. As he searched, Louie kept trying to get him out.

"Really, Uncle Scrooge, there's nothing!" he yelled. "I took nothing but the Staff from that cavern!"

"Then, it was surely a coincidence that you wished for Huey to be mute and he suddenly became mute, huh?" Scrooge said, looking behind the curtains.

Louie felt queasy. If Scrooge found that stone in here, he'd be in serious trouble...

"Ah-ha!" Scrooge exclaimed, holding up a quarter as if it was the most precious thing on the planet. "I found you! Thought you could get away, huh?"

Scrooge pocketed the quarter and continued searching around. Louie slowly walked towards his bed; he had hidden the stone under the mattress, where Scrooge had not checked. He took out the stone and put it into his pocket.

Scrooge had caught that last move, unfortunately. He was standing in front of Louie in a flash.

"Give it to me, Louie," he said.

"I don't have anything," Louie said, sounding really nervous.

Scrooge grabbed Louie's arm and attempted to get him to give him the stone.

"Lad, this would be easier if you--"

"I wish you weren't in here and you hadn't come in here and searched my room!" Louie said.
