The rest of the week went by smoothly, and then it was Sunday, the day Namjoon would meet Seokjin at Starbucks. He walked out of his rooms with a blue long sleeve pajama shirt and blue gray and white plaid pajama pants. He went to Insu's room, too see him wearing a grayish blue sweater, gray joggers, and white shoes that are untied.
"Look Appa! I got dressed all by myself!!" Insu cheered.
"You did bud! Its awesome, but can I tie your shoes?" Namjoon replied enthusiastically.
"Yah!" Insu shouted. Namjoon tied Insu's shoes and stuck a yellow beanie on his head.
"Auntie Chungcha is going to babysit you while Appa goes for coffee OK?" Namjoon told him.
"Okieeeee!!! Can I have Almond Flakes?" Namjoon laughed, his child was absolutely the best. He gave Insu his breakfast, and Insu started munching away. Namjoon heard three knocks at the door, there stood his sister.
"Hey Chungcha, Insu's in the kitchen eating. I'm gonna go now so bye!" Namjoon informed her.
"Uh not in pajamas you aren't." She sassed.
"Right, I'll go change." Chungcha shook her head as Namjoon rushed off to get changed. He put on a red infinity scarf, black and white striped shirt, gray winter coat, light blue jeans and tan shoes. "Bye Insu!" Namjoon called.
"Bye Appa!!" Namjoon walked to the bus stop, feeling a bit nervous for his meetup with Seokjin. He arrived at his stop, got off, and walked into the Starbucks. Then he saw the purple haired man in sitting on the couch, on his phone, which was rose gold. Namjoon was acutely aware of how handsome Seokjin looked in his outfit. He wore a light blue turtleneck sweater, a winter coat of the same color, black jeans, and white shoes.
"Seokjin?" Namjoon asked.
"Namjoon! You ready to order? I thought I'd wait until you got here!" Seokjin explained.
"Yes. And you didn't have to wait." Namjoon told him.
"I know that it's just, this place takes so long and I wouldn't want to wait on the other for two long." Seokjin said shrugging.
"Oh that makes sense." Namjoon blushed, he shouldn't have assumed. The line was short, so they immediately got to order. Seokjin ordered a Cloud Macchiato with a classic coffee cake and Namjoon got a S'mores Frappuccino with a cheese danish.
After they sat down to eat, Seokjin immediately asked, "So what are your views on LGBTQ+ rights? I'm a homosexual man, so I like to know if Im gonna have to fight someone or not."
Namjoon laughed at his boldness, "I fully support it, I'm a pansexual man myself, so there's no reason not to." Namjoon also did a mental cheer, he's gay! But the question really is, is he single?
"That's perfect! Now on to other topics, what do you teach?" Seokjin asked.
" I teach Korean at an international school here in Seoul." Namjoon replied.
"Oh my goodness that means your good with English right?" Seokjin exclaimed.
"Yes, it's not all that though." Namjoon shrugged.
"What do you mean? Learning English is impressive! I tried to do it to make business meetings easier, but unfortunately, I suck." Seokjin explained. Namjoon made a face, Seokjin, a businessman? "Is there something on my face?" The purple haired man asked in horror.
"No! I just didn't expect you to be a businessman. You're too..." Namjoon started.
"Nice? Well it wasn't my first choice, but I've learned to love it." Seokjin nonchalantly replied. After that they chatted about how Seokjin loves the color pink and Mario Kart. Then about how Namjoon loves crabs and reading. Then when Namjoon told a joke, Seokjin laughed, and it sounded like a windshield wiper. That caused Namjoon to burst out laughing.
"Are you laughing at me, that is no way to treat your hyung!" Seokjin teased.
"There is no way your my hyung!" Namjoon scoffed.
"Try me, I'm 23, turning 24 in a couple weeks." Seokjin said smugly.
Namjoon sighed in defeat, "I'm 21..."
"HA!" Seokjin shouted in triumph.
"Quiet down..." Namjoon blushed.
"Quiet down hyung." Seokjin reminded him.
"Whatever." Seokjin opened his mouth, "If you say 'whatever hyung' I'm going to lose it." Seokjin shut his mouth and blushed profusely. Namjoon suddenly noticed how big and soft Seokjin's lips were, and how handsome his shoulders were. And Seokjin was definitely staring at his chest and his eyes.
Suddenly, Seokjin asked, "Can I have your number?"
"Uh, yeah, sure. Of course." Namjoon stumbled. He wrote his number on Seokjin's coffee cup, the numbers looking a bit shaky.
"I have to go, I have lunch with my parents, but I'll text you later OK?" Seokjin started.
"Yeah." Namjoon replied dumbly. Seokjin got up and left, and Namjoon was left there wide-eyed. Does he like me? I hope he does. Namjoon thought. But then it hit him, this is the first time he had liked someone since his first year in college, when he met Jia. But then another question popped into his head. Could he ever really love again?
