"C'mon Kim Insu, It's time to go home!" The daycare lady called, and there came running a cute little boy that looked almost exactly like his father, Kim Namjoon.

"I'm so sorry I'm late today Jiwoo, This kid at my tutorials needed extra help and..." Namjoon rambled.

"It's no problem Namjoon, you have never been late before, so there is no reason to worry." Namjoon and his son walked out of the daycare and started to walk to the bus stop.

"Appa! Appa! Look what I made today!" Insu exclaimed, holding up a picture full of scribbles and two stick figures.

"I love it Insu! What's it supposed to be?" Namjoon asked, smiling at his amazing kid.

"It's our family Appa!" The boy grinned. Namjoon smiled sadly, he wished that picture could've had three stick figures. Unfortunately, Namjoon's girlfriend died giving birth to Insu. But he in no way blames her or Insu, just sometimes he wishes he had Jia here to help him through parenthood. Namjoon scooped up Insu and spun him around. "Appa! Appa!" He giggled.

"Let's go kiddo, I'm making Jin Ramen." Namjoon said, carrying Insu into the bus. When they were about halfway home,

Insu started whining, "I'm hungry Appa... I'm hungry..."

"Hey we're are going to be home in about 20 more minutes do you think you can wait that long?" Namjoon asked, hoping with all his heart Insu could.

"Noooo. I'm hungry noooowww!!!!" Insu started bawl, and everyone turned to look at him.

"Hey, Insu please can you calm down for Appa? Please you'll get gummies!" Namjoon begged, but he just kept screaming and crying. Namjoon was about to cry when a man with pinkish purple hair walked over and held out a package of fruit snacks.

"Take these, he's probably just hangry." The man offered. Namjoon smiled at the joke and gave the snacks to Insu, who quickly quieted down.

"Thank you so much sir, and I apologize for him making a scene..." Namjoon started to ramble.

"No sweat. Being a parent is hard. I mean, I wouldn't know, but the times I babysat were a challenge. But there wasn't two of me either so..." The man teased.

Namjoon nodded, "Well there is just one of me as well."

The man's face turned bright red, "I'm so sorry. I-I didn't know I'm such an idiot!"

Namjoon smiled, "No it's ok, you don't even know my name. I shouldn't expect you to know that. I'm Kim Namjoon, by the way."

The handsome man replied with a big smile, "And I am Kim Seokjin." The two men shook hands and Namjoon could still feel the warmth of Seokjin's hand after he had already let go. "And what's the little man's name?" Seokjin asked.

"My name's Insu!!" Insu excitedly cried with a mouth full of fruit snacks.

"Insu! That's such a cute name!" Seokjin exclaimed.

"I know!" Insu replied happily.

Seokjin smiled and turned to Namjoon, "Your kid is adorable!"

"He is isn't he?" Namjoon replied.

"Do you like coffee Namjoon?"

"Huh?"

"I said "Do you like coffee, you seem like a guy who I could have a good conversation with."

Namjoon smiled, "I love coffee. I'm a teacher, so I'm only free Saturday and Sunday."

Seokjin replied, "Perfect! Does Sunday, 10:00 am, at Starbucks, work for you?"

Namjoon thought about it for a sec, "Yes my sister can babysit Insu and I have nothing else that morning."

The bus pulled to stop, and Seokjin walked toward the doors of the bus, "Goodbye Namjoon, see you soon."

Namjoon waved back like a dork, Insu joining in. The last five minutes riding home, the Kim family had smiles on their faces, but for two completely different reasons. Insu because of the strawberry fruit snacks and Namjoon because of the pink haired man that made his hectic day The bus jolted to a stop, and the boys got off, and walked straight to their apartment. Insu was starting to shiver, and Namjoon realized the weather was getting much to cold for the t-shirt his son was wearing.

"Insu, we're going to start wearing long sleeves tomorrow OK?"

Insu replied with chattering teeth, "Yes Appa." They both walked into their first floor apartment, and slipped on their house shoes. The apartment was small, but more than enough for the two of them. The style was rustic chic, yet surprisingly cheap. Namjoon wasn't the greatest cook, but he tried to make homemade food for his son as much as he could. As Namjoon made ramen in the kitchen, Insu colored on the quaint wooden table in the living room.

"Come get dinner!" Namjoon called. Insu came running in, his plain navy shirt covered in gold stripes. "What happened to your shirt bud?" Namjoon asked.

"GLITTER GLUE!!" The tiny child yelled happily. Namjoon shook his head but smiled to himself. They both ate happily, Insu spilling his ramen, and Namjoon somehow managed to break his brand-new chopsticks. The kids at school didn't call him, Mr. Destroyer for nothing. He cleaned up the mess, gave Insu a bath, and put him to bed.

Namjoon went to his living room and sat on the worn down leather couch, and started to read. He was reading Harry Potter, the book series his students insisted he read. But he couldn't concentrate on the adventures of the Golden Trio, he just kept thinking of the pink haired man who helped you on the bus. It just hit him that he was going to coffee with him, the first spontaneous thing he had done in years. It scared him a bit, he hadn't been able to keep as many friends because he was a dad. There weren't many 21 year olds with three year olds in Seoul, at least that he knew of. And it didn't help that Seokjin was hella cute. Namjoon closed his book and practically skipped to bed, and for the first time in 3 years, he went to sleep with a smile on his face.
