Chapter 1- Bff

Kailey Morgan O'hara has been my bff since we were born. We've been through everything together. We tell everything to each other, more than we tell our parents sometimes. I get this feeling with her that I never had I don't know why. I woke up at 6 am and went on a run after an hour I got home and got ready for school/hell. I was excited to see Kailey. See what I mean I also start to act weird around her. I'm super nervous I was on my phone until my momma/ Tobin came into my room.

"WAKE UP" She said puling the sheets off me.

"I'm awake" I said tired

" oh" she had a awkward expression on her face. She said something else, then left "I'm going to go make breakfast it would be finish in 10"

After she left I sighed and grab my ear buds and listen to music. I was focused on the lyric of the song that remind me of Kailey, her blue eyes which I love, her laugh she is an Angel that fell from the heaven and a blessing. Why am I thinking about her I'm confused do I like her yes or no?

" BREAKFAST IS READY" Momma yells. Damn bruh I got ears to listen. I went downstairs and went back upstairs with the plate. I never liked to eat downstairs. I like to be by myself without anyone. After I finished I checked everything I needed, then I grabbed my keys and I got in my  car

I texted Kailey if she wanted me to pick her up. After 10 minutes she said yes. I went to her house and texted her that I was there she came quickly.

" Hey" she said very softly

"hey" I said back smiling and looking at her eyes. You can easily get lost in them. We have 5 classes together which means we could bother other people even more with the boring teachers. Especially the reading one. We got to our 1st class we where eagerly, I sat next to Kailey.  5 minutes passed and  Kailey starts crying.

" What happened Kailey?" I asked worried.

"h-h-he cheated on me" at the moment I went and hugged her she was sobbing.

"He is not worth it you are he does not and never will deserve you" I said we faced each other and started to lean until.

" Good morning class" I quickly went back to my chair hurting myself. She laughed that laughed, which was always music to my ears. After class ended I went to find Kailey, then I decided to ask her question.

"Who did he cheated you on with" I asked harshly.

"Kayla" she said in a sad tone

" I will come back in a few ok" I said. That bitch deserves what she's about to get. That's not rainbows to say the least. I knew where she was.

"Cassidy" Kayla said biting her lip. she always was drooling over me even tho I never put a lot of attention into her. I like Kailey. I grabbed Kayla by the collar of her shirt.

"Don't you ever go near Kailey or you are going to be dead" I put her down and went to find Kaeden. I saw him and punched him in his stomach then in his face " Don't you ever go near her ok you dick!" when I turned around I saw the principal and Kailey.

"To my office now Heath" Ugh I'm about to get killed I went to his office and took a seat. "Explain what happen" he said ughh.

"Fucking Kaeden cheated on Kailey and I had to do something about" I said really quickly.

" i'm calling your parents" this is the part I didn't want to happen. About 20 minutes later my Mom got here.

"What did you do now" my mom/Christen said.

"punched Kaeden" I mumbled.

"Cassidy, I don't even now what to do with you anymore, your changing what happened to you when you where happy where you weren't problematic?" She says sighing. She makes me feel like I always let her down.

"Mom you don't understand. you wouldn't get it. Momma told me that in high school she did the same thing for you" I said, recalling something Momma had told me not to long ago.

"Yeah but that was me and your mother not you" She said clearly thiking about what cruel thing she would do to me.

"When are you going to understand me. No one get's me in this family, neither you or Momma. I can't not even tell you how I feel because you both are always busy. It is either work or something else. I'm problematic because that is who I am. If you don't like it, you shouldn't have had me!" I was so done and tired of her bringing me down all the time.

"That is it we are going home Momma is taking your car" Mom said angrily.

I went to grab my shit out of my car, and when we got home, I didn't even bother to aknoglede my parents. The fact they took my car I did not want to talk to them. I looked out my bedroom window and started to think about Kailey. I want to be there for her for when she needs me. I finially went downstairs and talked to Momma.

"What did you do i'm not going to be mad I promise" she asked patting the spot next to her, telling me to sit down.

I sighed and told her about punching Kaeden only that bc I did not wanted to tell about him cheating on Kailey I wanted her to tell them not me.

"Why did you do  that" she asked.

" I'm not the right person to tell you momma" We got home I quickly ran upstairs got into my room and locked it so mom or momma couldn't find me. I hid in a secret place witch me and Kailey are the only ones that know that spot. I had my phone and charger that was the only thing I needed I was going to text Kailey but I remembered that she was in school but I texted her anyway.

Cassie>Kaebae❤: lmk when ur home
Kaebae❤>Cassie: meet in our spot?
When she described it as 'our place' I got goosebumps.
Cassie>Kaebae❤: of course. ive got snacks and a charger.
Kaebae❤>Cassie: I'm glad we're friends Cas. I wouldn't want anyone else to be my friend.
Oh yea. "Just friends" wait until she comes over ;). Then we'll see who's just friends.
